yes. he is a complete fighter. a fighter blessed with genetics best suited for the trade, and a mastery of the trade molded to his own hands. i really, really hope that bam can carry up to 122 because he is the only realistic opponent that can meet inoue in the same air. pick a fight between the original fab 4 and you got the level im talking about. a very rare treat. and getting rarer each generation.
right now bam isnt ready for inoue, from what i saw last night. its not a question of skill, but durability and power. he needs more size, and it needs to be built the right way. then hope genetically he doesnt lose anything. he should have 2 fights in 2026 at 118, in the direction of fighting inoue around this time next year. i think that would be as fair as its gonna get.

But that's precisely why he did so well against Nakatani and Bam won't. Hernandez's output and pressure exceeds that of Bam twofold. Also his balls are thrice as big and his chin is thrice as good. Bam won't take the risks he took, because he's afraid of putting himself in harm's way. So the legs won't matter, Bam won't bring the same pressure because he'll fear what's coming back at him.

oh, you think the holes in juntos defense were caused by pressure? i think it was bad defense. so junto has to keep the fight on the outside, which he couldnt do against hernandez, against a guy with better legs than both of them, in order to win? because in exchanges, bam is going to eat his lunch. bam washes hernandez and stops junto. inoue stops both of them.

Great match between Nakatani and Hernandez, a true candidate for Fight of the Year. A close contest where I felt Hernandez deserved the win more, but 118-110 is definitely disgusting, these are the things that kill the sport. Inoue showed his class, controlling the match without any worries. I see the Monster heavy favorite over Nakatani, in an interesting match nonetheless, but I'd prefer to see Nakatani vs. Hernandez 2.

Rd 12 was an important rd. All 3 judges had Nakatani winning. Like I said yesterday clearly not a blowout round in Hernandez' favor.

Yeah I think Nakatani needs to set the record straight there before fighting Inoue. While I don't have an issue with the result itself(other than absurd 118-110 card) it was the kind of nip and tuck fight that warrants an immediate rematch for the loser.

Doubt an immediate rematch happens. Either way Sebastian Hernandez won't be going hungry again after a performance like that. In front of the hierarchy we won't forget his name again. He's like another Pitbull Cruz. Line him up some more quality fights, he's a crowd pleaser and a future contender if he can replicate that kind of performance.

Yes, I think it was the pressure that caused it, that's the only time he really gets hit clean, in two matches, against Chihuas and Hernandez. I've seen Nakatani's last 15 matches, even guys like Santiago, who walked down Donaire had little to no success with him. His defense only gets porous when his opponents close the distance, get inside his reach literally in his grill, ties him up and smothers his power punches, while working him over with pecking hooks to the head and body. I've seen no one have any sustained success with him at range. Bam is a Super Flyweight weight bully, and an accumulation puncher, his power would have zero effect on Nakatani and Hernandez.

Yes... but, whose goggles are more powerful? His love goggles or my hate goggles?:sisi1 People said the same thing when I was relentlessly pointing out what a hype job Anthony Joshua was.

weight bully? he was smaller than cafu, and smaller than puma, so who exactly is he bullying? and both inoue and nakatani spent twice the time at super fly that bam has spent so far, so were they just bullying everyone too and their wins dont mean anything? you dont seem to think these things out before you say them.
