Not that it makes this any better, but Pascal vs Eifert was for the IBF mandatory spot and Eifert has now waited over 2 years for it.

You’re joking right ? Both became Champions in 2017 with Beterbiev hunting down the other Champions for there belts and managed to get them in the ring except Bivol ?? In the same time period Hearn kept Beterbiev busy by making sure he fought all his mandatories (4) whilst his own fighter made one single mandatory defence in the exact same time period.Hearn and Bivol aged Beterbiev out as long as they could until the Saudis got involved and they had no choice but to make the fight, and Bivol lost ! Bivol now has delayed the trilogy with voluntary surgery and prior to that vacated the WBC belt to avoid Benavidez his mandatory !

You're spot on. That match up has potential FOTY written all over it.

So Beterbiev´s team made Bivol an offer or not?

Also, a bit of context: The unification fights Beterbiev had were with fellow Top Rank fighters. Those were in house fights made by Arum.
There is no way Hearn has any power over the enforcement of mandatories, certainly not over 3 of the ABC´s.
WBA not enforcing any mandatories is totally normal, has been for a while.

There is plenty on social media with Beterbiev calling out Bivol to his face over the years. So your saying Beterbiev called out all the other Champions in the Division and fought them for there belts but ducked Bivol ? In house Top Rank fighters made by Arum, you sure about that ? Hearn is a weasel who is known to pressure the sanctioning bodies even if he hasn’t got a fighter of his own sitting as mandatory, like when he was instrumental in getting Fury stripped of the IBF belt for Joshua to then pick it up from Martin ! Bivol’s actions after the second Beterbiev fight follow the same pattern as his actions before the first Beterbiev fight.

So your evidence in the end is that Betebiev talked to the media and made some social media posts. Its like saying that Golovkin ducked Lara because Lara called him out, as if after the call out its on Golovkin to reach out and to make a deal.

My point was that do we have any evidence of either side even attempting to make the fight? Did someone reach out to anyone?

And yes, the unifications prior to Bivol that Beterbiev had, those were all in house fights.

This is now purely conspiratorial, I cant take this seriously at all.

Obviously he took the rematch because he lost the first fight. He had nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking that rematch. Beterbiev gave him the rematch immediately, and now Bivol has the upper hand he won’t give the rubber match. People are justified in calling that out.

Bivol is not moving like a man who is confident he can win against Beterbiev OR Benavidez.

OK, so you dont have actual evidence of Betebiev´s team trying to make the Bivol fight.

Eifert is a nice kid, a tidy boxer and hard worker and I'm happy to see him finally rewarded with another payday for his upset victory effort versus Pascal - but man, he's going to get schooled.

That's the fight I want. Regardless of how Benavidez does vs. Zurdo (and I can easily see that going to a decision; I don't see Zurdo KO'ing him), that should be a big $$ fight.

Even Team Bivol (management) were like "Beterbiev made enough money in both fights, he needs to calm down. It's 1-1"

Team Bivol still have a lot of fear of Beterbiev. The man split open Bivol's eye lid in the last round of the rematch and is relentless. Psychologically it took too much out of Bivol IMO. He won't be able to motivate himself the same way again.

Beterbiev on the other hand has been training non stop and IMO is the #1 man at LHW.
    Bivol is injured.
    Benavidez hasn't proven enough.
Beterbiev is the one who UNIFIED all 4 belts by vanquishing all his opponents one by one.

A man motivated is someone to fear.

Turki needs to intervene and make Beterbiev v Benavidez for May 2026 instead of letting Zurdo lose his belt to Benavidez and killing an Optetia fight.

    Mismatch.

The IBF haven't learnt from Cinkara as it seems.

I think Bivol wants a match before facing Beterbiev for the third time. I'm struggling to think of any other solutions. I was expecting the Bivol-Beterbiev 3 announcement, which will probably happen in the second half of 2026. If neither man retires I think there will be a trilogy. Time will tell if my prediction comes true.

I can’t believe that a fellow Boxing fan doubts that Beterbiev whilst pursuing all the other Champions of the division for there belts did not try to fight Bivol !
Callum Johnson Hearn promoted IBF mandatory
Callum Smith Hearn promoted WBC mandatory
Bivol beats Beterbiev in the rematch then vacates to avoid Benavidez the WBC mandatory stating that he wants the Beterbiev trilogy then puts himself in for voluntary surgery so Beterbiev sits aging out once more, same old pattern .

Beterbiev, one of the actual fighters involved, has stated multiple times that Bivol rejected the offer. What evidence do YOU have that Beterbiev is lying? Because that’s the more outrageous claim being made here.

Like seriously, that’s your stance? That Beterbiev isn’t really trying to make the fight and is just pretending? Even Bivol isn’t saying that. You’re better off sticking with the weak ass official story about injuries and mandatory defenses.
