    Puma said the same thing. How’d that work out for him? How’s his nose looking these days?

    to be serious, yeah, Bam does use Loma’s footwork, but he doesn’t really fight like him. He seems to switch between more standard Mexican pressure fighting and a highly technical approach that kind of resembles Crawford. But during all of it he’s throwing in the Loma angle shifts.

    I give Bam-Rod credit for his appreciation of maestro Loma's otherworldly skills and technical wizardry and genius but you can't steal another man's style. That's theft even if you admit to being a thief and pay homage to the person you've stolen from. Bam-Rod broke into Loma's house, raided his safe and stole his footwork and angles from it. He should be in prison not earning millions from stealing another man's style

    We have a saying in the US: Try that in a small town

    Let's see Bam-Rod try and become undisputed using Loma's style 8-9 divisions North from the one he turned pro at vs prime giants way bigger, longer and heavier than him because that's how many divisions 135 would be for Loma had he turned pro at the same age as Bam-Rod.

    Bam’s style is uniquely his own, drawing elements and techniques from all over. As to the very Loma-esque footwork, who WOULDN’T incorporate that if they were physically capable of it? Bam is physically capable of it.

    do you hate Shakur Stevenson? because boy does he use a lot of those old black code techniques that Floyd brought back. But again, if you’re physically capable of that style of defense, why WOULDNT you use it? Shakur is the first dude since Floyd who can do it effectively. So of course he uses them.

    It isn't he literally stole that style from Loma's safe and now he shamelessly parades around wearing a ''I Stole Loma's Style But It's All Good Because I Admit I'm a Thief'' T-Shirt.

    If I stole something from your house what would you do?

    1. Phone the police

    2. Bop me across the bonce with a hammer (I would strongly advise you not to because I ain't that guy)

    3. ''Wow! Thanks ever so much for stealing from me.. you're the best''

    Good point. Shakur stole Floyd's style too and should also be incarcerated

    Notice how Shakur is a fan of both Loma and Bam-Rod but only one of those three isn't a thief?

    Wen Tim doesn't have an agenda to push, he knows his ****.:deal: He sees what I saw, and says that yes, Hernandez is the kind of fighter than would give even a Mayweather of Stevenson fits. So it's no real slight on Nakatani that he struggled with him. It's not that Nakatani is bad, it's just that Hernandez is damned good. I saw the Hernandez-Hovhannisyan fight as well, Nery struggled with Azat Hernandez dominated him.

    In fairness, not unlike with Picasso, we didn't really know how good Hernandez was. Clearly solid. I suspect it's a bad style for Junto as well. Still, the Japanese has time to grow.
