    It’s certainly not cheating.

But with a same day weigh-in, Terence would probably have spent most of his career as a JMW-MW in Tommy’s era.

He wouldn’t have been fighting Ricky Burns etc.

He’d have been in the thick of it with Benitez and the rest of the ‘Fab Four’

    It would have been amazing.

But realistically, he wouldn’t have retired with the same 42-0 record that he has today.

Terence has done nothing to be the GOAT.

    Don’t be silly.

Floyd has a better overall group of wins than Hearns does.

    Hearns fought the better fighters.

We don’t know if Floyd could have beaten Madramov easier.

    However, it’s not relevant.

They would all match up different stylistically.

    You mean he’s more stocky.

He isn’t a lot bigger in height, reach and weight.

    So?

    It happens.

Look at who it was against.

    A prime Ray Leonard.

One of the greatest WW’s in the history of the sport.

One of the greatest overall fighter’s in the history of the sport.

    Marvin Hagler.

One of the greatest MW’s in the history of the sport.

    It’s what happens.

We can say that Terence has never been knocked out. But then we can also say that he never fought guys of that calibre.

He never fought a prime ATG in his life.

Also, despite Tommy losing, he beat Benitez and Duran, and Duran beat a prime Leonard.

He was also robbed of a victory against Leonard in their rematch.

So: Tommy won and lost to prime ATG’s, whereas again, Terence has never even seen one.

You’re another guy who is obsessed by stats, without being able to apply the relevant context needed.

Claiming Terence to be the GOAT, is both cringeworthy and embarrassing.

He’s like a Neanderthal next to them, and I have little doubt that he had significant weight on them too.

Hearns lost to better fighters and a couple who weren’t better.

    He’s a powerful guy.

    He’s more muscular.

    Wider.

However, he isn’t taller, and he hasn’t got a bigger reach.

Therefore, you can’t say that he’s significantly bigger.

Height and reach aren’t what makes a person bigger in boxing.

    He beat Benitez and Duran.

They were better than anybody Terence beat.

No. Duran was in between losing to Laing and Lawlor. Benitez simply wasn't better.
