Also being susceptible to getting dropped by a big puncher if they catch you clean isn't the same as being susceptible to being put down for the count by one. (just ask JMM, or Steve Cunningham, etc.)

I'm confident enough in Inoue winning to bet on it, but the ROI at those odds just isn't good at all.

Putting a grand down would only net $222.

How is Inoue the bigger man? Junto is 3 inches taller, longer reach, and started in a higher weight class.

You are right Nakatani is taller and longer, but I feel Inoue has filled out at the weight better and is a more comfortable than Nakatani at 122 lbs.

Cardenas is an absolute joy to watch. He’s one of the few Mexican fighters with elite and speed and explosiveness.

If this bout has been scheduled for May, Inoue will be 33 by then.

He probably has so far, but another 5 months gives Nakatani a lot of time to fill out a few extra pounds.

I usually follow higher weights (like a casual, which I guess I am) ... but I'm interested in this fight for sure. If I was still in Korea (and didn't have work commitments) I'd be tempted to make the flight over for it, and do the rounds of the Tokyo music shops over the same week-end.

As always, this forum is a great way to get better informed about the fighters and the background contexts. Nice thread, so far.

Yeah no. Wilder in his prime is far more dangerous. Who has Nakatani beat?

Luis Ortiz is nobody? Dude was an elite operator beat him twice.

He has a **** ton of top 10 heavies that are similar to Juntos top 10 wins. Difference is Wilder beating Ortiz twice and getting robbed in Fury 1 > Juntos resume easy.

Luis Ortiz was a great amateur, but kind of a dud in the pros. (even leaving aside the whole "dude was like 80 years old" thing :sisi1)
