Grasping at straws. The hypocrisy is at an all time high with you. It was handled through the court system, Fury failed 2 separate tests and he refused to show up at court. He HAD his boxing license legally suspended during the investigation. So whatever you say is irrelevant. Fury took the drug ban and i posted the decison issued by the UKAD persuant to prove it. The United Kingdom Anti-Doping (UKAD) rules generally prohibit the disclosure of details on a case until the first legal process, including any hearings and appeals, has been completed not to mention results can take months upon months to be confidently verified, which is not unheard of. Fury knew about it, he just wasn't charged until later.

Once a drug cheat, always a drug cheat. Fury was taking illegal substances, just like Roy. End of story, it's legally proven, so just stop. You are just making yourself look like a fool.

No, describing what happened. UKAD 100% declined to take it to court when Fury sued them. And nothing you said addresses the main issue: IF FURY FAILED THE TESTS COLD, THEN WHY DID UKAD ALLOW THE TITLE FIGHT TO PROCEED?

BY UKAD'S OWN ADMISSION, they waited until June of 2016 to charge Fury with the results of a test from February of 2015. This is immoral whether or not Fury actually failed the test, and the reason why they settled for a name-only suspension.

    https://www.sportsintegrityinitiative.com/team-fury-takes-legal-action-against-ukad/
It is understood that the charges date back to urine samples taken from both boxers in February 2015, nine months before Tyson fought and won his initial world heavyweight titles match against Wladimir Klitschko. Although UKAD has not released details of the tests it performed on Team Fury, both boxers allege that testing of the samples in March and May show contradictory results. They argue that one test of each boxer’s sample showed traces of anabolic steroid nandrolone, while the other sample showed no traces. ‘In addition, both boxers were tested regularly – in Tyson’s case on some seven other occasions between May 2014 and November 2015’, continued Team Fury’s statement. ‘All these tests were negative even though traces of nandrolone, if taken intravenously, would normally be detectable in the urine for many months thereafter’.

Team Fury has asked the High Court to adjudicate on the following issues. As can be seen, it appears that a contaminated dietary supplement may have been at fault:

    • the reasons for UKAD’s delay in bringing charges,
    • the consequences of that delay,
    • whether or not UKAD told Team Fury in September 2015 that no charges would be brought against the boxers;
    • whether or not UKAD told Team Fury at that time that the contamination of a dietary supplement – was the most likely explanation of the adverse test results;
    • whether the High Court and/or the National Anti-Doping Panel has jurisdiction over this matter.

“In response to public comments made by Tyson and Hughie Fury’s representatives, UK Anti-Doping can confirm that both boxers were charged on 24 June 2016 with presence of a Prohibited Substance”, said a UKAD spokesperson in a statement.

Do I have to explain it to you ?

Fury submitted a sample. This does not automatically mean the sample arrives in that month, results are not immediate and delays can occur with the administrative process. Complex lab analysis can take months, the need for multiple sample testing is another (Fury failing 2 drug tests) and substances can have long detection windows. It could have been a combination of factors. In a nutshell, the results may have not been known until after his title fight. Keep being a hypocrite. Anyone who's not naive knows almost everyone at the elite level is taking illegal substances

Do I have to explain it to you? The sample was taken February 2015 and he was not charged with anything until June 2016. There were communications on the test in September of 2015-BEFORE THE KLITSCHKO FIGHT. UKAD knew that there was no explaining this delay, which is why they settled.

    Keep being an imbecile.

How does this prove Fury DIDN'T take steroids ? UKAD never denied the failed tests when Fury got banned

UKADs position in the court was that Fury refused to provide a sample after he failed his drug test on September 2016.
    https://www.*******.com/articles/fury-refused-testing-told-inspectors-f-off-claims-report
Furys secondary position was that Him and Hughie Fury weren't given notice about the illegal. Here's a line word for word from the link. And Furys position was that he was never given notice of the consequences of elevated nandralone levels. You didn't address anything i said. And that's not why they settled for the 2 year ban either, you couldn't even bother to read the official decision issued by the UKAD i posted. here are word for word excerpts:

"UKAD has also asserted that Tyson Fury committed an anti-doping rule violation within the
meaning of UK ADR Article 2.3, in that he refused or failed without compelling justification to
submit to sample collection on 7 September 2016, for which he is liable to be banned for
    four years (the Refusal Proceedings)."

"UKAD accepts that Hughie Fury and Tyson Fury were not put on notice before they were
charged with the Article 2.1 violations in June 2016."

    Goodbye

You idiot...it doesn't and I specifically said in my post that I am not sure if he did them or not. But if you don't know that it raises questions that they let a fight go on after they were aware that he failed a test, and only chose to charge him like, what, 16 months later, then you are truly beyond help. It raises questions about the competence of the organization--AND OBVIOUSLY SO.

I didn't address anything you said because it isn't important. What is important is THAT THEY DIDN'T STOP A CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY SURE HE WAS DOPING, which raises questions about their competence and veracity.

He likely did them because there would be no motive to falsely accuse him whereas he has obvious incentive to claim he didn't take PEDs

How does their lack of competence have any bearing on the accuracy of their tests? It doesn't logically follow that their tests are suspect because of odd decision making regarding how they were dealt with.

Really? Do I trust an incompetent organization's conclusions?

And, it could also be lack of honesty. They only became interested in pushing the issue when he became a name.

I'm not expert enough to know
Although a casual fan who has watched for years, only like to comment on an era and time I have watched first hand as you often get fights where the wins were significant at the time but to younger who have no real knowledge of the era dismiss what they didn't witness.

I guess the answer comes down to how highly people view Fury's win over Wladimir and why they view it a better win than the ones scored over Wladimir by Puritty, Sanders, Brewster or Joshua and why outside of a title.

I could go back further, but rather than go back past half a century and just focus on HWs who have fought from the 90s and see if based on resume if you would rate Fury above (not whether you think he might win or not). In no particular order

    Lewis
    Foreman
    Holmes
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Usyk
    Joshua
    Moorer
    Vitali
    Tua
    Ruiz
    Rahman
    Wladimir
    Bowe
    Witherspoon

    ???

He'll fall outside the top 30 based on resume but should be a live underdog against most ATGs just based on size and durability.
