You never know which Helenius turns up and have to look at where respective fighter was in their career etc
Wilder gets a lot of flack but what are David Haye's top 10 wins? HW's: Chisora Valuev (final fight) J. Ruiz (final fight) Barrett Harrison CW's: Mormeck Fragomeni Johansen Maccarinelli Gurov Something like that. And instead of a draw (controversial or not) with Fury (who Haye ducked) prior to his first loss at elite level, Haye got stopped by 40+ former LHW Thompson. On what grounds then is Haye such a credible fighter but Wilder a fraud? Wilder has a significantly stronger record to my eye.
Haye's win against Mormeck is legit, whereas Valuev, Ruiz and Maccarinelli are rightfully the butt of jokes, they sadly represented some of the better guys in their division at the time. Haye was partly truth, and partly fiction. Wilder...well...Ortiz, right?
Could’ve done this, could’ve done that, at the end of the day he has no wins as good as Arreola, so who cares? It’s not about the title to me, Stiverne actually beat a relevant fighter.
Look at his resume if you go by fan cards: Joyce Parker I Whyte I Pulev II Wallin Very good resume for a contender. He did make it though I believe.
It's a pretty abstract claim. For me, Wilder's near shut out win over Stiverne 1 was a better outboxing performance than Haye scraping by Valuev. I couldn't see Haye getting to 42-0-1 against Wilder's list but I could easily see Wilder beating every Haye opponent save Wlad. If we look at the resume (which is what people claim to care about here), Haye's inferior to Wilder. Why doesn't he get ragged on? Did he show more guts when he avoided a fight with Wlad and blamed his toe? Or when he avoided Fury?
But Haye is a cruiser, so we really have to be careful about what we are talking about, here. If you are saying head to head...maybe...although I still like Haye's combination of power, hand speed and defense over Wilder's power. But I get what you are saying. Again, of you are talking legacy in the sport...Haye by a country mile.
Why is Valuev below Stiverne and Ortiz? He beat John Ruiz x2 and Liakovich, I’d say that alone puts him over any individual on wilder’s resume. Stiverne’s best win is Arreola, who cares about shutting him out? chisora/valuev for me is clearly a better pair of wins than Stiverne/ortiz, if we’re being objective about the quality of their careers.

Haye was no more obligated to fight Fury than Fury was to fight Kabayel, Joshua, Bakole, Hrgovic, etc.
Yeah must be some sort of corruption. Because there's at least 3 time periods were Chisora should have been in the top 10, including right now.
