I predict it is a better fight than people think.

Knyba is huge, boxes well, and has been punching with more power lately than early in his career.

He is also totally inexperienced at a high level, and pitty-pats too long before getting to business.

I think he's going to make a fight of it.

Knyba could cause an upset, I'll stick to that opinion.

Good to hear. Makes me at least somewhat interested in that fight.

It's actually an interesting fight. Instead of fighting a has-been or journeyman in a stay busy fight, he's fighting a giant undefeated prospect, and the best HW from a country with a solid boxing culture.

That said, Knyba is jumping from fighting people not even in the top 100 to a top 5. It's an absurd, maybe unprecedented, leap for someone at this stage of his career, and a bridge too far, but as a fellow Pole I hope, and think, that he gives a good account of himself.

As a Pole, I would love for Knyba to do well, but the looking at the level he was fighting... Can't see it. Kabayel by KO with body shots in 6.

This is a good event with a decent card considering the current state of boxing in Germany, this could greatly promote boxing in the country, especially if the fight is great...

Michael Coffie, Richard Lartey, Andrzej Wawrzyk, Marcin Siwy, Joey Dawejko.. is decent opposition and decent preparation for this step up for Kynba. Most unknown HW's that make a step up usually have faced worse opposition than this.

Kabayel KO, no doubt in my mind and although I understand people thinking knyba can make it interesting or is a live under dog, I just can’t see it going any other way.

Very glad it’s in Germany and in a decent time zone for me. These Saudi cards the last couple of years have been a blessing for me and next is no different

    One-sided Kabayel victory.

Nothing else makes sense - it'd serve him right if an upset happens, it's just not very likely at all.

A lot of people seem desperate for it to be a difficult and interesting fight just because it's been a while since Kabayel fought... It doesn't look like this has much realistic likelihood of being anything beyond wishful thinking.

I have a feeling that Kabayel was pushed into the fire with the intention of being removed from the way, Knyba is determined to knock him out...

    How does that make sense?

From Kabayel's POV, why fight a dangerous nobody who's bringing in very little money/attention?
The simplest answer is because they know the risk is very low - it's the only way it makes sense.

And if someone (who?) wants Kabayel out of the way... Why do they want him out of the way?
And in what possible sense would replacing him with Knyba make sense?

If it's because he's dangerous, replacing him with someone more dangerous makes no sense.
If it's because he's not a big name or a big pull, replacing him with someone lesser in both respects makes no sense.

This whole thing is so much simpler if we just run with the simple and sensible assumption - that it's a deliberate soft touch (not out of character for Kabayel) and it's all extremely likely to go to plan...

Of course Kabayel is the big favorite but I have a feeling that Knyba could surprise, let's wait for the fight and see.
