Jeez, was Itauma stoned out of his mind, here?

So who will be the champs in 5 years instead of him then?

    Lazizbek Mullojonov or David Surov.

And you think they will stop Moses winning a title?

No, he'll be stopped long before they rise to prominence.

Out of interest - is this Leo Atang dude any good? A little hype around him from TNT and that etc.

This is one of the rare times where I'll say this, but... it's genuinely too soon to tell. Although from the little I've seen on him, which is like... 3 rounds. He has a lot to work on. His power doesn't seem devastating, his defense is far too porous, especially when he's flurrying, his chin is out there begging to be touched. Also he's a bit too wild, like WIlder-esque, so he needs to focus on precision instead of volume.

Mullojonov and Surov have been mentioned...Torrez and Dronov are of that age group.

But the real answer is, that since these guys don't really emerge until their 30s these days, the real future champ is any number of guys still in the amateurs, or way down there buried in boxrec.

I don't think Itauma is a complete fraud--I wish him well. But they are hiding something. He talks Usyk, ducks Sanchez, pursues Pulev, goes quiet against Gassiev, fights Franklin and lines up Okolie. This is NOT Mike Tyson, here, and he's not going to steamroll the division.

Moses is actually a tool. I saw another interview where he was really condescending to the interviewer.

Good point ha! I’ll ask again when he shows more - I didn’t realise he’d only done 3 rounds in the pros.

British media really hits different when they market a fighter. I mean it is exciting but only when they’re active.

Yeah I could very much see the case for Itauma hiding something here.

CTE. Lot of rumors he's been dropped and hurt multiple times in sparring as of late.

It looks like he's packing glass and a bad gas tank.

Yeah, I mean, being articulate and having a good boxing brain is definitely the same thing. The irony of this "take" is not lost.

CTE could be a serious worry here. I can't recall seeing a 21-year-old boxer this slow or slurring their words this much. Pretty worrying, really.

Mullojonov is banned for doping, isn't he, for a few years? He might have already peaked by the time he comes back and gets into the swing of things. It's too early to suggest Surov could do something in the pros, I think. Jalolov looked like a monster in the amateurs but has been pretty underwhelming as a pro, Surov could be the same.
