If you put Wardley in with a 32 year old vitali from that fight would definitely back Klitschko. So have to back Lewis here

So basically shot Lewis Vs current Wardley...

You have to back shot Lewis - he beat prime Vitali in that condition, and it was fairly even on the cards rather a lucky stoppage that saved him from a one-sided beatdown.

Does Wardley see the final bell? Not impossible - but also wouldn't be surprising if he didn't...
Does Wardley stand a chance on cards? Nah.

    80/20 Lewis.

ANY version of Lewis brutally STOPS Wardley. This feels like Bute all over again.

Much as i dislike Lewis's holding and hitting antics, and much as i never found his style aesthetically pleasing, Lewis is one of the worst fighters for anyone to be aggressive against unless they are an elite tier 1 ATG.

Wardley is far too hittable to beat Lewis. Yes, he could land a big punch like Rahman or McCall did. But those guys weren't noted punchers- Wardley is, and hence, Lewis's team would be careful and only put Lewis in there with 100% preperation.

    Lewis stops him.

Lewis was not shot at all. He hadn't declined much yet. Just was heavier than ever. He retired before becoming shot.

Unlike people want to believe Lewis was in his complete prime when he got dominated by Vitali.

He would destroy a guy like Wardley

37 years old coming in at the heaviest weight of his career is Lewis in his absolute prime ? I don't think so.

Also being down by only 4 rounds to 2 whilst Lewis was coming off his best round of the fight prior to the stoppage. And Vitali almost went blind in one eye needing 60+ stitches is not my definition of being "dominated".

As for the thread Wardley could possibly 1 shot an out of shape Lewis who was at the end of his career.

Lewis is obviously the favourite based on his pedigree.

But I wouldn't be overly confident Lewis has been 1 shotted before when he wasn't in the best of shape see the Rahman fight.

You're talking like he was invincible lol. Lewis got KO'd by Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall, and probably should have had a loss to Ray Mercer, & got KO'd by Soviets in the amateurs.

There's a decent chance a huge puncher like Wardley would catch him and knock him the **** out. Lewis would win the rematch though:D

Lewis dominates an looks about to stop a busted up Wardley several times in the bout an then Wardley catches him in the last round and gets another miracle win

As much of a fan of Riddick Bowe as I am. It was a very underrated performance from Lennox considering it was against a pretty formidable fighter in Vitali.

I don't think this win gets enough credit, it just aged well as Vitali became as some could say an ATG himself.

    Lennox stops Wardley and early.

Yeah I think Lewis was wise to avoid the rematch with Vitali.
