Up to a point... He's beaten two hypejobs and a dangerous but extremely inconsistent Chinaman with a literal 50/50 record against gatekeeper level opponents and above.

He's become a somebody and deserves to be relevant... But if he goes back to fighting trash he'll forfeit that right.

And let's not forget that this is EXACTLY what he did after Chisora - 6 domestic level opponents in six years, at home, and made himself irrelevant again...

As long as it is only one, and he fights someone decent as well this year, it can probably be forgiven.

Equally - if it's not criticised, it's more likely that he does repeat it.

Sometimes... And TBH there would be some degree of karma if he does manage to **** it up.

It'll be truly shocking if he does, but sometimes strange things happen.

I don't know anything about Knyba,but he seems to have some amateur pedigree to go with all the pro knockouts so you never know I guess.

 

We can only hope it winds up being a much better fight than it has any right to be - either by Knyba being way better than he's shown yet, or by Kabayel being in poor enough shape that it's competitive.

Unlikely, though.

Was just thinking then, Does Kabayel have the best active knockout streak right now in the top 10 with Makh, Sanchez & Zhang?
