Some of you guys just mythologize the 90s too much. Yes, it was a great era in that you had a LOT of guys at near parity fighting each other frequency, but no, Kabayel is not by any means squeezed out of an era in which Bruce Seldon, Oliver McCall, Michael Moorer, Johnny Ruiz, Ray Mercer, Tommy Morrison, Michael Bent, Herbie Hide, Haseen Rahmen, Henry Akinwande and 45 year old George Foreman wore belts. And don't even start up with the Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis stuff, because post-prison Tyson was already shot, Bowe was a one-hit wonder, and Holy and Lewis lost to some of the guys named above.

If we are being fair, Kabayel would beat a lot of those guys.

The opening two fights of the televised card were utter jokes. And that Fury referee stoppage was comedically bad.

Herrera was about to score a vicious KO, and the referee rightfully intervened, but of course for some reason he fumbled the stoppage. :lol:Dropped to the canvas like a bag of stale potatoes.

Birchall is one I will look out for. Young southpaw who is super aggressive, should be a fun career.

10th round of Shala vs Millas was FUN! Ref wanted to see that man dead

Kabayel was Kabayel, did not look to have any ring rust at all. Knyba did force him to be a bit more aggressive than is usual for Kabayel in the first round, but it did not work out well for Knyba. I must say, it was pretty funny to watch Kabayel force Knyba into a headlock: "No, no. You are not going to play dirty here tonight."
Another quick stoppage, but It was a good fight tho and the crowd was great! Hopefully we do get Usyk vs Kabayel!

Kabayel v Knyba was similar to Kabayel v Smakici

Kabayel has become quite an exciting fighter, and he would probably draw a good crowd in Germany if he had a legitimate world title challenge, he is also known to the Saudis. He deserves a shot at Usyk, of course.

The Kabayel-Knyba stoppage was a too early though, it has to be said.
Knyba deserved a few more moments, and he'd done quite well, and Kabayel was cut.
A poor stoppage in the main event, and one of the worst stoppages ever was on the under-card (Roman Fury v Kevin Greenwood).
Very shady stuff. Just what I expect from professional boxing.

Knyba was dangerous with his long jab, but his stamina is questionable, this fight greatly added to his experience and I would like to see him against other good opponents, I would like to see Kabayel against Usyk...

    Usyk should fight him then!
But apparently Usyk is chasing easier, washed-up fighters.

I will definitely not pay a cent for usyk wilder. let's have meaningful fights for the three belt (undisputed in actuality) heavyweight champion.

There are only kabayel and wardley right now. They probably can fill a soccer stadium in Germany. And honestly usyk should be enough of a favorite to make it an ok risk reward proposition if he doesn't feel to old for it yet.

Kabayel started slow while Knyba was rushing, drowning, and working on something of a third gear through the first round. Even then, Agit landed some meaningful shot and put the fear or God into Damian with that one left hook to the body. Not nearly as bad a round as some portray it.

Kabayel looked a gear down from his usual pace, almost hard-sparring mode. Not happy with the stoppage, but it was a good step-up for Knyba, one that can make him improve and build platform for himself later on. Seemed to have won over many more fans.

Actually, might have been a half-decent stoppage. The ref seemed to have warned Knyba, and he had absolutely nothing. Saved a young fighter for later.

I would like to see Knyba fight Huni after some rebuilding for both.

I think Huni absolutely shuts his down. I really doubt he would look decent against the likes of Ajagba. Just very mediocre all around bar perhaps whiskers.

Huni seems to have better skills overall but Knyba showed a nice jab with some combos and a pretty good uppercut.
