Think how good Usyk is. And Fury almost beat him. Prime Fury dusts all these HWs.

 

Lennox might still be able to pull out a win due to his power. Ali and Holmes lose.

 

Fury's squandered talent is the greatest tradegy of the last 10 years.

If he thinks he can find something in this years "comeback" to remove that seed of regret he holds then he'll end up on the floor realizing that father time has already beaten him.

 

People genuinely think the Ali that beat Foreman loses to the mysterious Dusseldorf Fury who 116-112'd a close to 40 year old Wladimir?

 

They all find the ATG magic to beat a mythical, overrated Fury, who isn't an ATG.

I could see Fury winning a close decision against a washed up Larry Holmes.

 

I don't think he beats Lennox or Ali, might beat that Holmes

Mythical Fury does okay - that's Fury who's both slick and evasive and has decent power.

Mythical Fury didn't exist, ever, and basically couldn't.

Slick Fury was featherfisted, and still prone to making errors that would still see him get hit.
Powerful Fury was still only moderately powerful, but much less evasive and much easier to hit.

Fans tend to lump the plus sides of the two together without acknowledging the downsides of both versions.

In truth, Usyk might've fought the best balance - just evasive enough, with okay power when the situation allowed him to try and use it (not much).


No real version of Fury (as actually seen) beats Lennox from tko6, for example.

 

Wild boar meat Fury should clear but who knows, he’s not exactly consistent and he did say that quick smaller fighters troubled him the most. So that version of Ali would have the best chance, he punches harder than Cunningham when he plants his feet.

 

Larry Holmes might be the most overrated HW of all time

 

Can't beat what doesn't exist.

Actually given its dusseldorf Fury,, he probably beats Ali, Lewis and Holmes simultaneously whilst carrying Ray Mercer.
