Teofima Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson prediction thread....

I like teofimo I’m hoping this hit not get hit BS from Shakur ends..

 

Lopez is a good counter puncher, but Stevenson is a mover. In general I see counter punchers tend to get outboxed by the movers. That is kind of what I am expecting here.

 

Good fight, I hope it happens. Not sure if here is another thread in the Boxing section but will check. I spend too much time in the lounge.

 

Shakur will win if Teo follows every other gameplan he's had against movers, as the bigger and stronger man he needs to make this a rough, physical fight and try to bully Shakur instead of trying to box him.

 

Teofimo is better when he fights elite fighters, it's probably a matter of motivation, I think he has a chance in this fight but I would say 70-30 for Shakur...

 

Styles favor Shakur, he should win it. But I have a gut feeling Lopez pulls it out the bag and takes a controversial decision

i dont think teo has the iq to implement a plan b. even if he gets it right with the one and only plan a, shakur has the iq to adjust and take that away from him. so either he has some early success in the first couple rds before shakur takes over, or he gets boxed up from the very start. his only chance is to be in the best shape of his life and then dont let shakur breath at all. take his legs for the late rds and force him to trade with you. but i dont think that he would prepare for that, cause i think he really believes he can outbox shakur.

 

How did Teo beat Loma but then lose to Kambosos?

 

I would say, from my watching experience, Shakur's plan B is to run when his plan A doesn't work. Not sure that equates to a superior IQ or not.
