Because both parties would have to agree. You can't slip in a rematch clause without the consent of both parties

Otherwise Usyk would be at risk of having to rematch everyone he fights

I'm well aware there was a rematch clause. I'm also aware Usyk had to agree to it in the first place when he was under no obligation to do so.

He didn't allow Glowacki, Breidis, etc to force him into rematch clauses though no doubt they would have liked it

I understand that Fury probably wouldn't have fought Usyk if Usyk didn't allow him to put in a rematch clause. So i agree his rematches with joshua and Fury were mandatory

But Usyk didn't have to fight Dubois again. He could've fought Parker instead. Usyk said he'd fight the winner of Parker Wardley as well but he didn't

Fury had the belts and was the draw. Go blame him for the rematch. Usyk just agreed to terms.

And who was it who added the rematch clause stipulation?

Initially it appears Fury wanted the fight to be winner take all with no rematch clause. At least that's what google says

Perhaps my perspective is off due to fans being unreasonable but criticizing Usyk for rematching the same guys over and over in my opinion is more reasonable than a lot of stuff fighters are typically criticized for.

Like Roy not wanting to fight in Germany or Floyd not fighting Margarito, Williams, etc.

He could've fought Parker instead agreed but you also have to remember Parker/Dubois were supposed to fight and Dubois pulled out so it kinda ruined it for Parker.

Dubois had the low blow controversy story that some people still believed and had the big win over Joshua.

Would i of rather have seen Parker at the time ? Probably. But I also would've liked to of seen Dubois/Parker face off to prove who really did deserve a shot at Usyk.

Just for record I don't like the Wilder fight and if we see a trilogy between Fury it would be a joke.

So why can't I criticize him for taking the fight?

And why is a trilogy fight a joke?

You might be correct, Fury didn't want a rematch clause in case he beat Usyk but they eventually agreed to a 2 way rematch clause after Usyks team seemingly insisted on one.

Though Fury himself isn't a good source so it's questionable

Chisora is the second best pressure fighter working at heavy, behind Kabayel. Is what it is.

He could have fought Joshua without a rematch clause as well. He was the WBO mandatory after all
