I think Turki would only allow Boxxer the UK rights if Shalom would get the BBC to air it live on a Saturday night. He wouldn’t want it on some random or obscure PPV platform in the UK over Netflix or DAZN.

Frank can talk, he has a huge history of fight cancellations, false fight announcements, press conferences for fights not even confirmed.

The Itauma card was very good without the main event and that got slashed apart, are we really confident that sticks for the March date.

I am very disappointed with this outcome, however it has come about, this was a good step up for Azim, any kind of stoppage would have been a statement, and with a January date, there was a feint hope of maybe a huge 3 fights this year!

I’m not a superstitious guy but at this point I’m convinced that shalom is a curse to a fighters career!

 

I know loads of stories about Frank Warren that cannot be published. He is by no means a saint.

 

A friend of a friend told me about a particular run in he had with him and I always thought after that he was no saint.

 

Got to feel for Archie Sharp, one minute you're chasing a world ranking, the next you're on Fran Hennessy's undercard on the beeb. Didn't do himself any favours in the Hughes fight though.
