Ennis is not avoided. He calls out fighters he is and his camp is out of reach of getting the opportunity realistically. Then when he does get in position to get the fight he does exercise his mandatory status.

Ennis also turns down fights and avoids negotiations with fighters he 'claims' is avoiding him. He was offered the Crawford fight 3x....got 2 official offers. Bozy, his father/trainer expressed the reason why they turned down the fights.

Truthfully, I doubt most of the names are truthfully avoided as much as business politics getting in the way of the best match ups being made. A couple guys on your list also had issues with staying clean.

Fighters claiming they are avoided has become not only a cliche amongst new fighters, but also the marketing plan for a great deal of them to serve as an excuse to justify the competition they actually step in the ring against.

I don't see anyone out there trying to fight Albert Fish. It can't just be that he seems like a real jerk. There's got to be some genuine fear there.

 

Luis Ortiz is being ducked in his late 40s. Rising contenders should be eager to farm him for a win. But no ones interested.

 

Sounds fishy to me.

 

Don't think Ortiz is ranked top #15 by anyone and he still presents a danger to many. Risk vs reward just doesn't make him an attractive proposition.

He and his daddy knew that, OTHERWISE they would have actually pressed for the fight rather than giving illusion that they wanted the fight. I understand it's hard for you to accept reality. It's nothing new when it comes to you Man Fans.

Here are some facts you'd be an idiot to attempt to argue, because they are all documented via video, official reports, seen on a timeline:

-Boots was caught in a lie while Crawford was in his home town being interviewed by Gillie. Boots called in claiming he was trying to fight Crawford in 2018......Crawford told him to "go to sleep, because you trippin'....". The reality is, in 2018, Crawford was fresh off of becoming undisputed for the first time at 140lbs. He was looking to move up and get an opportunity to fight the champions at 147lbs which, at the time, were Spence, Thurman, the winner of Danny & Porter, & Jeff Horn who had just took Manny's title. What was Boots doing at that same time?....Boots fought 7 fighters between the time of Crawford beating Indongo for undisputed in Aug '17 to him beating Horn for a world title in a 3rd division in June '18. Boots was fighting guys who worked 9-5's. Cano (17-12-5), Jimenez (3-18-1), Bruce (24-14), Sosa (15-10-1), Gariby (13-9-2), Amoako (23-17), & Anaoutis (26-10-2). His camp was busy building his name up on journeymen so that they could market him as being elite. He was in no way in position to request a fight vs a world champion let alone an undisputed champ. Anaoutis was his first fight in which he was schedule for 10 rounds.

-When Boots became the a top contender for Crawford's WBO welterweight title, he was offered the fight 3 different times. 2 official offers with numbers were made. Bozy explained in depth why they turned down the offers on camera. The video is still up. Do your research.

-Ennis could have fought Crawford when the Spence negotiations fell through the first time being that he was #3 in the WBO rankings. Ennis decided against the Crawford fight and activated a mandatory for Spence, who he knew wasn't going to fight him at all. Crawford ended fighting the #5 ranked David Avaneysan. Was even offered the fight again after Crawford stopped Avaneysan before the Spence negotiations began again.

Ennis camp literally told Turki that they wanted tune ups upon moving up to 154lbs. The division Ennis is supposed to be more comfortable in making the weight. How is it was suppose to be a threat to an elite fighter in Crawford but claims to need tune up fights to get ready to fight individuals less talented in the division?
