Not what you want against a heavy handed relentless opponent who will walk through Kelly's punches. It will be an amazing feat to hear the final bell for me and he will have to dance like he has never danced before for the full 36 minutes.
murtazaliev shouted allah u akbar after he beat Tim so this fight is the battle of the gods as Kelly says god has a plan for him and i dont think they have te same god so have the two gods come up to an arrangement or is it the two gods up against each other personally wouldnt of thought gods were into boxing
Not a boxer i,ve seen that much of josh kelly. Remember watching the avesyan fight and being blown away at how good he actually was in terms of skill level etc. Then the wheels fell off. Got world class skill....just looked like the rest of it let him down on a level you pretty much cant afford many or any weaknesses. Or more the style requires very high levels. Hoping the weight played a big part of it all but looks like hes up against it.
Great fight this, on DAZN (non PPV) too I believe, so I'll be catching this one live, record Azim Lemos over on Sky and tune into that right after, then should still make it in time for the big one in the early hours. Used to think Kelly was a bit of a nob, but I've actually grown to like him.....seems very calm and laid back these days and ditched the cocky arrogant attitude. I give him a good chance if he can stay away from power punches because he has the speed and skill.
Dont think i seen that fight mate. Probably around his level...so up against it in this one by the looks of it.
Azim-Lemos is off unfortunately: https://ringmagazine.com/en/news/ad...daniel-lemos-off-after-both-men-suffer-injury
I think Kelly comes across very likeable these days. Watched a ‘day in the life’ feature with him earlier and he just seems pretty down to earth. Also, his missus is unbelievable. Some Spanish rocket.
Kelly is going to get the beating of his life isnt he, this russian geezer with the neckberd who was shouting about allah after he knocked over Tim about five times is not going to put up with Kelly running away from him is he, hes going to give him a proper hiding as i will never forget the scared look on kellys face as he was being pummelled by david
I might go to this fight as it’s in my town. Not sure Josh Kelly can hack it at this level as it is a big step up for him but stylistically this is probably the most beatable champion for him.
Yes there are huge tests to dethrone the World Champions in this division. Any Brit who beats any of these Champions deserves great credit.
The OZ Shannon Courtenay must be good looking on a night out. Her opponent, the red lipstick lady, Elif Nur Turhan throws leather and more leather - one of the few females who looks for a KO. She was on the Monte Carlo Card and obliterated Beatriz Ferreira to win the World Title. She lets her hands go and another stoppage likely on Saturday.
