    70's Foreman probably stops him

Liston-Usyk is a very competitive pick em fight

Bowe with his infighting, powerful uppercuts and pressure will give him a hard time but Usyk is too smart to slug it out with Bowe. Plus, Bowe's poor defense will leave him open to the southpaw left hand. I think Usyk decisions him.

Dempsey could make it tricky with his speed and power but Dempsey himself used to leave himself open and he struggled with slick boxers. I think Usyk weathers an early storm and then outboxes Dempsey for a decision win.

Cooney could maybe stun him early but is too one dimensional to win. Usyk stops Cooney late.

Golota has nothing for Usyk. Usyk wins easy

    So ranking:

    Foreman
    Liston
    Bowe
    Dempsey
    Cooney
    Golota

I make Usyk a favourite over everyone not named Foreman and Liston.

    Bowe
    Foreman
    Dempsey
    Liston
    Cooney
    Golota

Usyk probably beats all of them, though.

    Foreman
    Liston
    Bowe
    Dempsey
    Golota
    Cooney

Cooney might deserve to be above Golota but Golotas more reliable.

I'm thinking Usyk loses to the first 4 and beats Golota and Cooney but those are most likely tough fights.

Usyk loses to all of them prime vs prime in
    my opinion.
His only chance of victory would be
    Dempsey.
    That's because Dempsey's weight
in general was between 180-190 pounds
during his heavyweight career, and his
    reckless fighting style.
However since Usyk has never faced a
fighting style similar to Dempsey , who
knows how he would react to that level of
aggression and lack of space to work,
Dempsey would have the ability to consistently
keep Usyk in front of him.
One doesn't become a great fighter
in your mid to late thirties.
Usyk success in this era is a reflection of
the poor competition in the heavyweight
    division today.

Foreman couldn't stop ****. He's slower than my grandma's corpse, and she's been dead for decades.

Liston and Bowe have the best chance cause they're the best boxers on this list.
But both have a big disadvantage. Liston is not that fast and Bowe's defense is not that good.
Dempsey's speed might help, but he lacks the size and skill.
Foreman gets outpointed with ease. He lacks the speed and the skill to prevent this from happening.
Cooney and Golota stand no chance whatsoever.

Put the crack pipe down. He most likely beats all of them.
Liston and Bowe are the only ones where it's 50:50.
And Dempsey has the best chance after them due to his speed.

Actually, given that he lacks punching power, it's a reflexion of him being way more skilled than anyone else in this era.

None of them best Usyk too small, slow or simplistic to ever beat Usyk imo. Bowe would probably give him the most trouble but Bowe was never great against boxers and movers so I think Usyk outpoints with Bowe having some success here and there.

How would you rank them based on their chances, or at least on how tough the fights would be for Usyk?

Riddick Bowe is massively underrated on here on a H2H/prime for prime sense.

Just like almost any other sport, if you don't have good defense you will eventually lose against the better competition.
