If Anthony Joshua in 2021 had fought Mike Tyson in America, instead of Usyk, you'd be cool with that? Or would you call it a duck or something similar?

It's funny how some people act like Usyk's not to be held to normal standards ALL other champions are held to.

Fury deserved heavy criticism for fighting Chisora and Ngannou while giving Usyk the runaround.
Usyk deserves the same if he fights a washed up bum or MMA guy instead of Kabayel or Wardley, who've both earned a shot.

Well what's the hold up for Usyk then? One sided beatings didn't stop him from rematching Dubios and AJ.

The difference between Dubios, Parker and Kabayel is that Dubios is the only one to have quit twice (against Usyk, I don't consider taking a knee after taking severe eye damage from Joyce as quitting).

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Usyk fight and think he's the best out there at the moment, but how long are people going to keep defending this behavior? Either **** or get off the pot, I don't want another Fury-like diva holding up the division.

Yeah, well AJ quit against Fat Andy, and he still got 2 shots at Usyk. He's not holding up anything, the division is in shambles and he's waiting to see how it shakes out. Sure, he should probably fight Kabayel or Wardley, but will matches with them generate money? He's weighing out his options, and none of this is because he fears any of them. He just wants to maximize profits now, and who could blame him? It is called prizefighting after all!

There is no prize in dropping a belt and looking for a completely meaningless fight with shot wilder , up to a point nobody wanted to host it .
When now the fight with wilder stalled there is obviously no prize .

We saw what a big crowd kabayel attracts against knyba - now imagine a fight against usyk!

He was a mandatory but Usyk ducked him by dropping the belt.

Kabayel fought on the big December 23, 2023 card (AJ-Wallin, Wilder-Parker etc.) and on Fury-Usyk 1, and beat Zhang on the Parker-Bakole (Parker-Dubois up until the day before) show.
Casual fans have seen him. Germans are behind him. Brits know who he is. Casual love Usyk.

The idea that Usyk v Kabayel wouldn't sell is a joke.

Usyk might be waiting for Jake Paul's jaw to heal. I think that fight generates money enough to satisfy Usyk's fans.

biggest payday is whatever fight Turki wants to see, in Riyadh. Not in the US where we literally don’t have a single heavyweight worthy of carrying Usyk’s jock strap.

the US can be big money right now for the p4p guys. But not Usyk.

So basically you're saying Usyk thinks he will lose to Kabayel and Wardley, and he's scared of them and he is ducking them ?

    Yes.

There is absolutely no reason why usyk avoids the two biggest fights available in regards to legacy and payment . Any discussion wilder would generate more money than wardley or kabayel is nonsense and just a try to find an excuse for usyk .

If its ok to be now named ducksyk is another question

For the first time in his career hes talking about an 'easy' defense lmao. Calm down. I'd rather see Wardley or Kabayel next as well, but Usyk fighting Wilder or Ruiz next is hardly the biggest travesty in boxing history.
