My dude, Fury outlanded Wilder in 9 of 12 rounds. And if we are looking at the stats. Wilder only outlanded Fury in terms of power punches in two rounds: 9 and 12. So given Fury showed excellent defence, far better accuracy of punches, and controlled the spacing, there is only one guy winning rounds in that fight. It wasnt particularly hard to score.

Two KDs doesnt overturn 8+ rounds.

 

All these organizations had him rated ahead of Parker when they fought. Clearly the ratings are not infallible given he lost to a guy rated below him who he was heavily favored to beat.

There also are no wins in his resume that give one any confidence that perception matched reality.

What wins of his trump Parkers best wins? Or Ruiz?

Rankings are not created as a h2h prediction.

Wilder was one of the greatest punchers to ever grace the sport and has proved that more then once with a SINGLE punch.
I don't know why that is such a problem for people.

I stated fury outlanded wilder, so we don’t disagree on that, however the margin of “outlanding” was very slim, as you will prove if you answer my above question honestly.

A common misconception is how fights are scored, outlanding your opponent does not equal winning the round.
Hence why you are confused and believe he won 9 of the 12 rounds for outlanding on wilder by 1 or 2 shots a round. That doesn’t win you the round, hence why the judges didn’t score it that way.

effective aggressive and Quality punches are not credited in your mind hence why you think it’s a robbery.

Don’t simply think punch stats are how you score a fight lol. Then just judge it on compubox.

 

We are talking in circles a bit though. We understand fights aren't scored like amateur boxing but you are locked in on stats of punches landed.

Clean punches, Effective aggression, Defence, Ring Generalship

Round after round if you come forward throwing wildly, missing again and again, while the other guy outlands you and shows better accuracy, distance control, and defence, you are losing those rounds.

Again, 2KDs does not overturn a 4+ round difference between the two fighters. As you say, this isn't the amateurs, it's just math

I imagine most on here have been watching the sport for 20+ years. We might disagree on an individual scoring, but there are three judges to give an average as we know one guy alone cant accurately judge a fight. So why not look at the average of fan and media cards as well?

I have no experience as a professional boxing judge, so i wont comment on what they are taught in terms of defining the four categories and their weighting, but they seem self explanatory from what I have read.

The thing i always go back to is that on a "pretty harcore" boxing fan forum, a poll had roughly 10% scoring the fight a draw. That (very) strongly suggests Fury won the fight

Everybody had Joshua beating Dubois right up until Dubois knocked him out. I guess everybody was wrong there (fans, journalists, sanctioning bodies, etc)

the point I’m bringing about outlanding, and by how many (which you cunningly didn’t answer, as you know fury mainly outlanded by 1-2punches a round in a mainly drab fight), is that fury’s whole plan on winning the fight was to Outland (not hurt) wilder.
Wilders was to hurt fury.
they both landed effectively the same amount so fury didn’t achieve his goal to get the win. wilders punches were of the same amount but were more effective and quality.

Fury’s defence and ring generalship were good but he didn’t do anything with them. No effective aggression, the 13 extra punches he landed were less quality.

 

This is again, an “you” issue with not understanding ranking systems and “seeding” in general life and sports. It may best for you to go back to school or something, or a mentor and they can explain as you won’t listen to me., or the official bodies or anyone but your own opinions which have no basis.

A ranking system is based on past performance, consistency etc, not a prediction of future performance.

The draw card was a stretch - you could just about get there if you really wanted to, but you had to want to.

The idea that you could get two of those is extremely fanciful - but with two bought and paid for judges, we've seen it happen... And we've seen people buy it and defend it as legit, because it's not quite outrageous enough to be undeniable.

The wide for Wilder card was a straight up joke - and so obviously manipulated that it let the veil slip, it's indefensible.

 

The "Big Three" (Fury, AJ, Wilder) was a laughable fraud that only the most willing sucker fans bought into. It's a testament to Usyk's brilliance that he's trying to squeeze the last bit of life out of the scam, with its most llifeless and discredited member.
