This kid is just 18 years old. Could be a factor someday if he turns pro. Although it makes more sense for him to stay in the amateurs and gun for a medal in 2028.

 

Neither are locks (gold medal or breaking Tysons record).

 

It would be easier for him to win a medal since the Olympics will be in the US. Whether by hook or crook.

Manzuev stopped Bykhautsou on the weekend which not many people do.
Manzuev is regarded as serious prospect on the Russian circuit. He’s a bullish man with skills so we’ll see how tough and fit he is.

Zemlyakov is a huge man who’s yet to fully master how to use this size. He’s also not fully grown into his frame and not got the man strength to go along with it. We’ll know more in the next year or 2.
