Fury is the only guy in heavyweight history to be knocked down in separate rounds against a heavyweight champion in a fight that went the distance (10 point system) and leave without a loss. It should’ve been stopped in the 12th according to Reiss interpreting that he’d lost consciousness. The draw was highly favorable to Fury.

 

Fury was up in 9 seconds and whooped Wilder for the remainder of the round. Reiss made a good decision.

 

I think the timing and circumstances of the first Fury fight should also be taken into account. Fury didn't yet look quite right physically in the first Wilder fight, after his lay-off.

Fury showed he wasn't concussed, so it's all good.

 

The same applies to Joshua. His best wins were against compromised guys whether old or just fat.

 

He must have just been taking a one second nap.

 

Agree Joshua and Wilder are relatively close. I would lean more to AJ but it's how you look at AJ's better resume vs Wilder not having a loss like Ruiz.

 

Maybe, to some - but those were wins and conclusive wins at that. I do give Wilder some credit for a draw, but it is just a draw.

 

Parker was neither and it's a bigger win than any of Wilder's. Also, Ortiz was both old and fat, LOL. Stiverne was just fat.

Good for him. Power nap, came back reenergized with more in the tank than Wilder.

 

Ortiz was more dynamic and just better than Parker. Wilder served him.

 

Parker is levels above Ortiz. 12-0'd Wilder too.

 

Maybe in your world. Cojanu probably thinks differently.

 

For what it's worth, Parker and Ortiz are same level of wins in my book. I suspect that Ortiz could be better head-to-head on his best night, but Parker is way more proven against variety of styles and match-ups.
The reason I rank Joshua higher for that decade is the fact that a win over past-prime Wlad is still more impressive to me than a draw with fresh off lay-off Fury.
