Because you were the proudly proclaiming that Teo would stop Shakur. But as soon as he loses it becomes a case of Teo not being the guy you thought or being a foregone conclusion. Shakur just beat the lineal champion in his 4th weight-class, a P4P entrant, and 2-division lineal champion who you yourself said is his best opponent. Not only did he beat him but he made him look like an amateur. That's a huge accomplishment and Teo is very good fighter. Quit pouting and give Shakur his flowers.

 

After Shukur sent me to sleep on the Bivol Beterbiev 2 card and i missed the main and co-main I swore id never watch him again, but that was a lovely performance.

 

Fantastic performance by Stevenson. Totally outclassed an elite level operator and he did it without having to get on his bike like Martin and Ortiz. As of now he's easily the best and highest ranking of the 135-147 guys (Haney, Tank, Garcia).

Pretty poor performance from Teo. Wasn't really an unusually bad performance from him or anything, just that he simply didn't have the style and attributes to combat Shakur. I think he can still beat some of the top guys at 140 and could definitely win a title at 147 but he REALLY needs to get rid of his dad. Truly awful corner work tonight.
