Loma is no bigger than a natural 130 pounder and should have stayed there.
He's still better than Shakur though and would outpoint him.

Fair enough. I didn't see Haney do much ever but get punched up by a relative midget while simultaneously enjoying every possible pre fight "A" side advantage. Including a day and a half to drink water and rest. That said, subjectivity is a thing in scoring boxing matches. :beer-toast1:

Sandor Martin beat Teo and dropped him x 2. He also completely schooled Mikey Garcia. Where is all his praise?

Shakur even admitted he felt way bigger than Loma way back when he'd just moved up to 135, let alone now

Loma was a 126 with a T-rex reach fighting way bigger opponents at 135 in what would be his 7th-9th division had he turned pro at the same age as them. Shakur turns pro the same age as Loma and 135 is his 1st weight class. People so dumb

Shakur is excellent but let's see him up at his 7th to 9th weight class and see how well he fares up in them vs much or way bigger and longer world champions and top contenders who have big or huge weight and reach advantages on him and are big or huge punchers for those weights.

How many times Shakur been at a near 6'' reach disadvantage and 10-15lb one, let alone simultaneously? Loma was routinely having to overcome that at 135 and was often giving away significant or a lot of weight and reach at 126 and 130 for goodness sake. No answers will be forthcoming

He was giving away 20lbs and 6'' in reach to Haney in his backyard with a home ref and three home judges and a 36 hour weigh in. Shakur who is much bigger than Loma refused to fight Haney without a rehydration clause in his own country with home ref and judges where he actually would get a fare shake unlike Loma.

He just called out Conor and insisted on a rehydration clause. Loma hasn't done that once despite routinely giving away huge amounts of weight and reach for a leprechaun division fighter. That says it all

If Teo had a much longer reach than Shakur it would've made a huge difference. Shakur's whole game is based on distance control and fighting at his preferred range.

He will never once in his career have to contend with or overcome those type of physical disadvantages and stacked deck and no American fighter will ever one fight in their foreign opponent in their backyards with a home ref and three home judges because it literally only happens in the US and in no other country. They have to stack the deck like that and constantly rob the foreigner because they can't fight

I followed Loma's career since his first fight. He was never better than what Shakur is now, Shakur would never lose to someone like Salido, I'm not even gonna mention Teo since Shakur pretty much won ever round vs him. Shakur is gonna go down in history as a legitimate great while Loma is simply a "what if".

At least the Loma hype is starting to die now, I remember people were calling him the GOAT for beating an old, inactive bantamweight in Rigo, it got even worse when he beat a borderline shot, marshmallow chin Lineras.

There's no comparison really. Shakur the type of fighter who has been calling out Gervonta Davis and had no fear of him. Loma legit ducked him and retire rather than test his mettle.

    Exactly

Lomachenko never came close to challenging a pound for pound fighter who was a weight class higher and then beating them in a non competitive fight

Had he this forum would never shut up about it

You can cope but Stevenson now is better than Lomachenko was at any point in his career and will go down as the greater fighter

No one cares about amateur fights and what ifs

It's about the pros and what you actually did unless people duck you
