Nostalgic people react as if Ray Leonard would have won easily...

    Bigger
    Punches harder
    More skillful
    Tougher
And I am no hater of Shakur
    But Leonard is too big

Nobody, not even Leonard, has an easy night with Stevenson. His defense/mastery of distance alone would trouble anyone in history.

That said, there are guys from the past who have more than enough craft, athleticism, and boxing IQ to get the job done. Leonard is one of them.

Jesus wins of course, but Shakur will have his moments.

Leonard is a diffrent breed than Lopez Or any of Shakur's opponents. Once Leonard realizes what he is doing isn't working, he would change up. He walked down Hearns for God sake. A guy with 1 punch ko power. He would aggressively go in on Shakur without fear and try to make it his fight. He had the speed, power and IQ to make it a rough night for SS. Definitely wouldn't be an easy night for Shakur. Per usual, I go with the fighter that beat the better opposition. SRR.

I also picked Leonard, my guy. I'm just not sure it'd be an easy night, especially early.
