My dream scenario would be Bivol and Beterbiev settle their score and the winner of that faces off against the winner of Benavidez-Opetaia.

That may only be good if its Beterbiev. Bivol has nothing for Opetaia, he'd get marched down and stopped. If Beterbiev still has something in the tank then it might be an interesting fight. But he'd probably be too old to fully realize his success in that one.

What Bivol did to Beterbiev is really ******* messed up. Now that Benavidez is going up theres no alternative either. I hate this cold and calculated move by Bivol is going to work and he'll get the trilogy win.

After Bivol ducked him. He also said he is still open to drop down to fight Bivol, yet Bivol does no seem interested.

Benavidez vs. Beterbiev is much more interesting.

It's 1-1 and Beterbiev was way past his best for both fights. He's clearly better.

    Case closed.

The first two fights were great entertainment so I can only welcome a third. Yes Beterbiev is past his prime, and yes he will be disadvantaged more by the gap between the second and third bouts, but frankly this is a natural consequence of turning over to the pro-ranks at age 28. When you turn over so late it is to be expected that your career is condensed, and the peak of your career occurs after your athletic peak.

You think Bivol is in his prime at 34? They went 1-1, and its clear that they are pretty evenly matched in terms of skill. If they were both in their 20s then a win for Beterbiev would not be guaranteed.

I'm more curious about Beterbiev vs Benavidez.

We all saw how Beterbiev dominated and brutalized Bivol. So, for me Beterbiev is the superior boxer between two.

I would like to see if Beterbiev is able to brutalize Benavidez like he did to Smith and Smith Jr. It's more interesting than Bivol vs Benavidez for me.

Bivol is starting to get on my nerves. What the **** to they need an interim bout for?

Beterbiev could have just not given Bivol an immediate rematch and used his finite window of high level boxing to do other stuff. Instead he gave this ingrate insta rematch and this snake stabbed him in back when he won.

Whatever happened to reciprocating favorable treatment?
