How can you be upset? This thread is literally about the 3rd fight possibly happening. And don't forget, Bivol had back surgery, so he may have needed time to heal.

A)Because Beterbiev had his time wasted

B)Because the trilogy outcome is a foregone conclusion in favor of IMO the lesser fighter due to the lesser fighter "aging out" Beterbiev.

Its not right and its the most blatant case of aging out in recent times.

I'll give that it did take too long for the fight to happen. You think that was Bivol or the promoter that waited?

Its the whole fact pattern that rubbed me the whole way.

Part of its because I didn't want Beterbiev to give Bivol an instant rematch specifically because I feared this scenario. I wanted to see Benavidez get in there and now hes gone. All a freaking mess.

Beterbiev told his story about what he thinks Bivol did awhile back.

Yeah, DB is the guy getting screwed in the whole deal. Ducked by Canelo and now this. I hope he gets at least one of them in the ring soon.

If Bivol-Beterbiev III is scheduled for late 2026, it'll happen mid 2027 due to a Beterbiev injury. Book it.

In an interview a few days ago, Bivol mentioned about being interested in moving up to cruiserweight. Bivol vs Opetaia would be one to watch!

Bivol has said he wants to become the cruiserweight world champion. But I don't know if the Russian will face the winner of Benavidez-Opetaia, simply because I don't know if Benavidez-Opetaia will be there. Right now I know that Ramirez-Benavidez will be on May 2nd, an interesting fight and, in my opinion, with an uncertain outcome. Zurdo is not an easy opponent.

I thought Bivol won the first fight albeit not by much. Therefore I'm not sure Beterbiev is the better fighter. but at any rate I'm not going to issue an edict that the "case is closed."

Tbh I think Turki pushed for the rematch before Ramadan 2025

Nobody expected Bivol to do the snake move though

It’s gonna be the same type of fight as the other 2. Can’t say It’s that exciting seeing a 3rd fight.

Not all that excited to be honest since they already evened up the score and Beterbiev is already 41 years old. I'd rather see Benavidez take on either Bivol or Beterbiev this year.

I've as much interest in seeing this fight as Ali -- Leon Spinks III.

Before he's any older Beterbiev should have fought Benavidez. Waiting for Bivol was a mistake.

Beterbiev v Benavidez would be a war where David ends up getting smacked around violently
