Whilst true, plenty of people thought (and still do) that Wlad could've won the rematch with Fury... And there's no question it would look differently if he had.

I’ve completely forgotten that the rematch was signed, but that Tyson withdrew and retired.

That completely slipped my mind.

Also, with different tactics, which Vitali has admitted to, Wlad could have beaten AJ.

I don't think the Wlad Fury beat would beat AJ, but a younger/better Wlad would very likely beat both IMHO.

Vitali has admitted that in hindsight, he gave Wlad the wrong advice between rounds.

 

Wlad have more fights but it’s hard to argue against an undefeated fighter when the other have multiple KO losses.

 

No, I was there and Wlad quit on the stool. Wlad’s cutman made the cut bigger than it was.

 

Calling that a loss is major stretch but ok.

 

I don't put much stock in the early career losses personally. Wlad's losses to Sanders and Brewster weren't exactly early into his career, but he turned pro at a much younger age than other fellow Easter Europeans. He faced some hiccups, but he came back stronger and made it to the top.

From the time he hit the top in 2006 until his reign ended in 2015, Wlad throughly ruled the division with an ironfist and sort of played it perfectly as well. He did everything his way, fought everyone there was to fight and then some (except for his big bro, obviously) didn't mind chasing some of his challengers (Like travelling to Povetkin's backyard or giving Haye the 50/50 split he didn't deserve.), had one of the longest reigns in the history and went out exactly how a champion should: By passing the tourch to younger, bigger and dangerous chalengers.

And Usyk is still active, so we don't know if he'll retire on top.

Wlad beat more top HWs and more styles than Vitali. He's H2H superior.
