Jai Opetaia v Brandon Glanton Predictions

Glanton has never been stopped, and has 2 very close decision losses that could have gone his way.

It will be interesting to see if he can survive the distance against Opetaia. Glanton punches hard, so it's not impossible for him to win this fight.

That being said, Opetaia will likely win.

 

A good attempt to dress up a C- level fighter but most people don't classify those types as 'good calibre'. I see a tough , durable pressure fighter who smothers his punches on the inside and is not very skilled at all. I remember Benavidez getting roasted by everyone for allegedly going to fight Jessie Hart, who is Ali compared to Glanton. Never seen a fighter get as many passes as Jai.

Glanton is WBC #7.

As well as WBO #11 and IBF #15.

getting a claim wrong is trolling? I looked quickly and only saw the IBF and assumed that's the only place he was ranked.

Briedis, who hits like a sledgehammer couldn’t sit him down, let alone knock him out in 24 rounds so what the **** are you talking about? Opetaia’s chin is world class, absolutely outstanding.

If (and it’s a big if) Opetaia ever gets KO’d it will be at HW. No CW is turning his lights out.

We could just get behind our athletes, whatever the sport, & whoever the athlete. Unfortunately some chase tall poppies and take shots at our champions at every opportunity. So convenient to overlook the 24 gruelling and brutal rounds vs Mairis like they never happened.

and still lost to Opetaia twice.
