Spot on. What a load of s**t from Sky. Who's watching this ? I love boxing. I'm not a casual. I'm not watching this. Do they think women like my missus are going to watch it ? Like she's going to turn off Real Housewives of wherever to watch a 20 minute slapathon. They've bought it , maybe for free, its virtue signalling and box ticking in the extreme. It's like the women's Premier League. They've paid big money for that, it gets around 50 k viewers per match. Who's watching that ? A handful of women who play football and an assortment of weirdos who like that sort of thing. The vast majority of women don't like sport you idiots, they hate it. My wife hates it. Rant over.
Can only echo the above comments. Not a fan of women's boxing bar the odd top level fight it's really never that good. Hardly anyone will watch simply as hardly anyone cares. Sport on tv to generate wide interest is about having the people watch engage and care about the outcome, vast, vast majority of subscribers don't.
I'm just happy that Sky is back in boxing and let's all hope the TKO deal falls into place. Sky is still one of the strongest platforms out there.
Women with their head screwed on half like certain sport and tolerate others. What they certainly won’t entertain is a far inferior version of the stuff they half like/tolerate usually.
