Your Current Top 5 Jabs on Boxing

After watching Shakur utilize his jab against Teo to great effect , I thought about the best jabs in boxing. my list would be in no particular order Stevenson, Haney, Usyk, Hitchins, and Bivol.

 

Only active fighters?
GGG and Kovalev had great jabs!

 

Yeah its focused on active fighters but those 2 are great shouts.

 

Inoue, shakur are the only AAA jabs I can think of, like proper elite level jabs.

 

Best jabs today:

Naoya Inoue
Shakur Stevenson
Oleksandr Usyk
Dmitry Bivol

 

That's the list right there.

 

Vergil Ortiz should be mentioned

 

I think probably Stevenson and Usyk.

Inoue is more of a complete wrecking machine and Bivol is just an incredible all-rounder that does the basics exceptionally well.

 

oleksander usyk can use his jab to control distance and also he can step in with it and hurt you, very versatile. terence crawford can do that too

 

Puello, Bam, and Espinoza too.

 

Puello is so good in general.

 

Roachs jab is really really good but I don't know if I would call it elite.

 

That mean southpaw advantage. Nasty little southpaws.

Bonus points if it's not a southpaw jab!

 

He may have piled on the pounds and walking around in suits but still Golovkin number one, he hasn’t officially retired yet!
