Could give the edge to Fury for his ATG recovery ability.

Good points made in this discussion. Wlad was hurt more often, but against bigger punchers. Fury is the guy with the magical recovery abilities. To me they have similar chins but Fury is the guy that recovers better even from absolute bombs. If you watch a slo-mo of Wilder 3, Fury gets nailed by a nuke of a punch that literally sends a ripple through his fat from head to foot. He carried on after that and won. I love me some Wlad but I can't see him doing the same.

Fury has never been stopped. Prime or otherwise.

Voted Fury based on feats, even though he's been tested less than Wlad.

Fury got knocked down by Wilder 4x, Ngannou twice and Usyk once. He doesn't have a glass jaw or anything but for a guy his size I don't think his chin is anything to write home about. Hes 6'9 250+ pounder hes supposed to have good chin.

Yes but then there were 12 years of magic perfection where that didn't happen.

Probably Fury but it is worth noting Wlad had almost twice as many pro fights as Fury and about 100 extra amateur bouts as well.

Wlad because most of Wlad's problem was not his chin, but his stamina.

But I understand the perception of Fury.

If you're getting knocked out it's because of your chin, not stamina.

When you get tired, it is easier to be knocked out. Clearly the Purity and Brewster fights were due to stamina issues.

That's because it's easier to get caught. Whether or not you get KOd is still down to your chin

That's a good one. Wlad fought better competition overall but maybe didn't face anyone as big a puncher as Wilder. (We can argue Wilder didn't beat many top tier fighters but he didn't just stop people he departed them their souls on more than one occasion the guy can whack)

Wlad's chin wasn't granite but after 60+ fights only being stopped 4 times isn't that bad.
Fury should have 1 stoppage on his record and while I think the ref made the right call V Wilder in fight 1 if he'd waved it off you wouldn't have complained to harshly.
So I think Wlad's chin is better but Fury can be down, hurt but back boxing seconds later. Wlad when he was hurt was usually done.
