If you use Gemini (“thinking” function) and tell it to provide links to articles from the Ring archive for a specific search and date range, it can do it. Make sure to specify Ring archives only so it doesn’t go through YouTube etc. I just tested it and it works.

This is the story that eventually morphed into Papke punching Ketchel in the throat when fighters went to shake hands. What is “one of the most unsportsmanlike acts in history” about refusing to shake when time is called? If you knew the full story of this youd know that prior to this fight Papke accused Ketchel of doing exactly the same thing in their first fight and merely repaid him in kind. Keep in mind that this excuse for Ketchels loss comes from a member of Ketchels team published in a magazine owned and edited by an unapologetic super fan of Ketchel. Ketchel lost fair and square to Papke and most reports thought Papke deserved no worse than a draw in their fourth fight. The fact is that Papke and Ketchel were very evenly matched and its a disservice to Papke’s legacy to perpetuate the myth that he cheated to beat Ketchel. Read the reports, including the one you just posted. Not one makes anything about Papke fighting rather than shaking the hand of a guy he hated and none of them allege that this incident was to blame for Ketchel losing or was against the rules or decorum.
