seems like thats been a big issue with him. hes been one of the more talented younger hw kickboxers for a while now but he just cant seem to stay health. iirc he was supposed to fight rico once or twice he just could never make it to the fight, and cookie also upset him a long the way.

Usyk would only fight a top tier opponent if the money is right and he can time his PED cycle well....evidently anytime pre summer that is not going to happen. Can't blame him...what other choice does he have? sit out? pretty much...

Kabayel is probably bieng targeted for the Saudi money which isn't coming till later in the year.

 

Did you have the same attitude toward Fury and Joshua for their circus fights? And objectively speaking Verhoeven is a tougher fight than either Ngannou or Paul (not that it matters).

 

These nonsense fights should be done after a champion steps away from the titles. Like Floyd doing silly fights now, fine but, Usyk is sitting on pretty much all the belts. I get he's just trying to maximize his earnings while he's at the top but it's frustrating to see.
