@1:55 Jarrell's manager mentions its been offered to them. The fact Joyce is still getting fights is a shocker to me honestly but hey what do we make of this match up?

 

So is Joyce going to fight until his CTE gets so bad he can’t even speak? Sigh.

Yup. Say what you will about what a jerk and a scumbag John Fury is, but he has several times publicly said to his son that there is no reason to risk anything further, and he should just retire and enjoy life. He loves the refracted glory, but he loves his son more.

remember seeing an interview with Joyce backstage just after the hrgovic fight and his family and friends seemed fine with him going on cheering and clapping for him. thats fine and all but didnt seem like anyone was being honest with him.

Also said he would keep fighting as its "his job". Makes you think Joyce hasn't been able to use his money responsibly to set him up outside of the sport or maybe he never made enough to start living comfortably outside of the sport to begin with. its actually pretty sad he was one fight away from getting the big fury payday or even being on one of those early saudi cards that were paying crazy amounts. Those Zhang fights finished him.

Joyce 1 and 4 in last 5 with two absolute batterings by Zhang in there. I think he should call it a day, I mean I thought it would easy for him to leave the sport after he started falling off considering by his own omission he was not and is not a big boxing fan in his personal life. Paydays to big I guess? His best trait was his chin and that's gone now, all that's left is one of the slowest fighters in the sport with very basic skills with an admittedly decent jab.

 

Joyce should just request rematch against Parker or Dubois at this point
