Honestly Chuvalo doesn't look THAT skilled to me and is basically a gritty tough guy that would wear you out. I think Botha is a better boxer and significantly bigger. He's pretty tough himself, so I'd take him on points in one of those gruelling mauling affairs.

White Buffalo on cuts stoppage in seven while comfortably ahead on the cards.

Yeah, I think Botha has a slight skill edge and could win by decision.

Botha UD 12. He does enough to land a few combinations for a majority of the rounds. I hate the sounds he makes every time he throws a punch tho.

Chuvalo was better than the White Rhino despite being limited himself.

Botha doesn’t take the Ali that Chuvalo fought the distance once let alone twice. Nor does he beat Quarry. Foreman and Frazier both destroy Botha as easily as they did Chuvalo but I doubt Francois remains upright under that sort of punishment like Chuvalo did.

Chuvalos in the convo for best chin ever but I'm not sure that translates to being better at boxing.

Cleroux didn't get a title shot but Chuvalo did in fact lose that trilogy to him and Cleroux was probably better H2H even if he didn't get the same chances at the top level.

    Spot on.

Botha was no great shakes as a boxer either. I always admired him for getting the absolute best out of himself and stepping in with anyone. Him beating Chuvalo wouldnt really surprise me but I lean towards George. He had edges in power, body attack and probably strength .

Botha may have been known as The White Buffalo, but Chuvalo was also known as 'The White...Guy.' So, let's...let's not discount that.
