We've seen some brilliant showings coming from a southpaw over the years but what are some performances that stood out to you the most? What are some of your favorite southpaw masterful boxing lessons / destructions that you can watch over and over again?

Can't get enough of seeing Bud against Spence. As close to perfection from a southpaw as you can get.

I think you meant to say Pernell Whitaker against Julio Cesar Chavez and then getting robbed.

No, that was a just decision even though I had Julio nipping that one on my card.

oleksander usyk couldnt put a foot wrong in his rematch with dubois, didnt get touched and knocked him out. for a quick one, adonis stevenson got right in there and landed a steam hammer left hand on chad dawson to stop him in 1. another big southpaw ko like that was michael nunn against sumbu kalambay.

Anything by Lomachenko. Loma vs Rigo was an utter schooling and Rigo was no chump.

Rigo was one of the best pure boxers in the world - I actually think he was a better pure boxer than Loma but despite Rigo coming up in weight, what Loma did to Rigo was unbroadcastable in civilised countries.

That was the fight that finally got many to acknowledge Loma's skills. The way he outclassed a guy like Rigo was unreal. People keep trying to discredit that win because of the size difference but I remember people kept calling for him to face Rigo who was previously unbeaten and a hard fight for anyone. Loma ended up making it look easy and did it without using his size but just his skills alone.

Only wish he stayed at 130 rather than moving up to 135 where he would have dominated that division for a long time.

Winky beating the brakes off of Tito. Also, pretty much every Uysk fight.

Two other personal favorite southpaw performances: Hilario Zapata beating Joey Olivo and Jiro Watanabe beating Gustavo Ballas. Underrated and brilliant southpaws when on point.
