He's wasted years of his career trying already. It's unlikely to ever happen. The organizations have multiple champs per belt anyway.

Your question was : "Why doesn't he move up if nobody will fight him at cruiserweight?"

The answer straight from Opetaia's own mouth is : 'Because I aim to unify all the cruiserweight titles first."

I didn't attack you, I just disagreed with you, it's what happens on forums, which caused you to throw a tantrum. Setting a great example as a mod as usual.

No you didn't. This thread had nothing whatsoever to do with Benavidez and you came at me for referring to a good fighter as a good fighter which he is and then in your very next post you quickly revealed your motives for doing so by doing your cry baby routine about Benavidez and some perceived double standard even though the thread had nothing whatsoever to do with Benavidez and the context for my harmless good fighter comment was that them describing him as such is what lead me to deduct it was him given which fighters were available. I do think he's a good fighter but that's not the reason why I even mentioned that

I have a lot of **** going on right now most notably my mother being very ill in hospital and I'm not in the mood to waste my time arguing with trolls like you for merely referring to a good fighter as being a good fighter who I've already told before not to waste my time

The only reason you're even posting on this forum, troll, is because you begged to come back on and I let you back on so kindly do not do so again

Zuffa has guaranteed the fights he seeks, just like Matchroom did, and he has not had one fight under Zuffa yet. Can we give it six months before the pile-on starts?

Congratulations. This is the single best example I have seen on this site of a poster completely mugging themselves off. I don’t expect that you have the intellect to understand why but well done anyway.

I think Glanton is a good opponent for Opetaia, who is making his first appearance with Zuffa Boxing and is awaiting a fight against the winner of the Ramirez-Benavidez bout. I like Opetaia but I think he's been handled too conservatively so far. From 2022 to now, obviously aside from Briedis, there were stronger opponents he could have faced. So, while waiting for a reunification, a fight with Glanton is a welcome one. He's a solid, powerful boxer, and while not particularly fast, he already has some experience at the highest levels, so an opponent who can really challenge Opetaia is a good one.

Who were these stronger opponents he could have faced? He’s literally called out every half-decent CW and most of them, including that coward fraud Zurdo have run for the hills.

The opponents were Zurdo, Billam-Smith, Riakporhe, Jack, and Mikaeljan. All of them were stronger opponents than Zorro, Thompson, Massey, Nyika, Squeo, and Cinkara. This is what their careers say I don't think Zurdo is a cowardly cheater, and if he wins against Benavidez in May, he and Opetaia will probably face each other (the same goes if Benavidez wins).

I'm not aware of this. Do you have any links that confirm what you wrote? Thank you.

In my opinion, as I've already written above, Opetaia was handled too conservatively. That's why I'm pleased that his career is now being managed by Zuffa Boxing, and I hope to see him fight the winner of the Ramirez-Benavidez bout (obviously, if he wins against Glanton in March).

So why not take fights at heavyweight while waiting for unification that may never happen

That's a surefire way for Opetaia never to unify at cruiserwright.

"Fans" like you justify Zurdo ducking Opetaia, so yes, in some ways, it is your fault Jai doesn't get the fights he deserves.
