OK just seen the incident with the crowd and members of team Ball. 2 or 3 of members of team Ball one of whom looked like a boxer himself had a little go at Team Fig and then a couple of idiots in the crowd threw some objects in the ring. Disgraceful but nothing major

Damn, our city was baited so hard into thinking we had the next Heavyweight King. We were ready to follow Davey Price to the edge of the earth!

I recorded the card but completely missed it at the time but I just watched it. I didn't see anyone get kicked or hit though. I'll have to watch it again

KO like that was bound to happen sooner or later with Ball's boxing skills regressing as they have since the Lowe bout. A shame, really.

I was on the phone for the entire undercard, was really relieved after finishing that I could watch the main event and then I looked away or at the thread just before the KO, was in shock at what happened because, as said, there was nothing whatsoever to suggest either eas getting dropped let alone HL reel KO'd, then I had to wait for ages for the replay still trying to workout wtf had happened

I hate having long phone calls at weekends when I'm watching boxing and it's rare I ever do and will do my best to ensure I never do again

Brits are the biggest sore losers. They do everything to rig a fight for the hometown fighter like what happened during last weekend, but everyone gets angry when the foreigner wins. You shouldn't need 10 security guards to keep the other team safe.

I hate British commentators, their refs and their hometown judges. It's rare that they actually play fair.

Thanks. I missed that even just watching it a minute ago. What a little scumbag. He looks like one but now we know he is one. I hope the BBBC fine and ban him for that

Pricey is by far the most likable scouse fighter there is as well. If he had Nick Ball's grit and toughness, he'd have done wonders for the city. Instead, it's just the drab misery of Paul Smith and the man who hates the spotlight - Anthony Bellew. Ball is a great fighter. I don't care how he lost there; he has held his own against some of the best in the division, but he had the personality of a cardboard cutout. Jack Turner seems like another who could get to the top, but is as dull as they get. Liverpool is a fantastic boxing city though, it has produced some great talents over the years.

He was rated prospect of the year by Dan Rafael. A lot of people thought he was the goods.
That fight was the first and only time I heard a man exclaim "Goodness, me!"
    Shoutout to John Rawling

i think mental toughness wast the big thing. He embraced being vulnerable and just went for it he would have been a lot more successful. Dude got off the deck to briefly stun Povetkin. That was the one time we truly saw a Zen Price who said **** it all and just went for it. That guy KOing a Charles Martin or even catching AJ wouldn't be the craziest thing in boxing history.
