It’s true, a poor commentator may have all the knowledge In the world but if he cant communicate it well over the microphone, its pointless.
All they have is a mic in front of em

So by your moronic logic would you rather listen to say Daniel Dubois talk about a fight more so than Jim Lampley? as Lampley has also never had a fight?

Bellew is insufferable and usually off the mark as well.

He’s deluded enough to start a podcast too, it keeps getting suggested to me, I will never listen to it

Sadly, there seems to be a market for stupidity. It will probably rate well.

Stupidity has the market share in social media so you’re not wrong there, I like it where he come on a ifl interview or something and you see the expression of everyone else like ‘oh no here comes Tony again’ it’s genuine dread haha

I agree somewhat but I’ll give him a little more credit and say 75% of time.

Once in a while he will have a pretty spot on technical analysis of what a fighter is or isn’t doing. And you will be like “Struth Jefferey where did that come from?” And then he will revert back to his overly emotional and self aggrandising self where he applies what worked for him to every fighter no matter their style or physical ability, then belittles said fighter and coaching staff because they didn’t do that.
Completely ignoring his many failures as a trainer.

    Wladimir Klitschko.

He had said AJ would reign the next decade when he lost to him. He was saying things like "I'm passing you the torch, little brother", as if AJ would really reign long.

I actually think Fenech is decent because he calls out BS and isn’t just a yes man. Danny Green calling the Gallen SBW fight was cringe stuff

Agreed refrence Tony Bellew but Jim Watt as much as i loved watching him fight was terrible calling a fight I'm not knocking the knowledge and insight he brought but his delivering of it was distracting, luckily we're only talking about actual Boxers here or Steve Bunce would be at the top of my list , if i was blind I'd rather hear the crackling of my house burning down than listen to that ****ing clown .

I swear, he was darn good when he first started, but quickly turned into the quintessential company man. Now its like he cant get high enough off of his own farts.

The clowns who had Matias dominating Dalton Smith springs to mind although DS shoved that bias commentary right up their bottoms with a barb wire wrap in the 5th....beautiful to watch.

I agree on Tony Bellew, disagree on Barry Jones and currently rate Carl Frampton, doesnt come across as shilling and just needs to be commentating more when Mcguigans stable are fighting just for fits and giggles...

Stop. Ward only had a hand full of rough house fights. Guys acting like his entire career was foul filled. He whooped up on some very good fighters. 3-4 fights with head butts and smashed nuts out of 32 isn't an entire career. Damn crybaby Kovalev nutthuggers.
