That's another thing. I hadn't eaten a thing prior to the phone call and I had something in the oven and had to eat that before the start of the main event but I didn't have time so I had to quickly prepare it in between rounds and then eat it during round 2.

 

It's even worse trying to multitask when you haven't slept well which is a very common theme with me and particularly more so these last few weeks and even when I have slept OK my concentration is terrible. I feel like I deserve an award for even being able to keep it together as well as I do during the all nighters at weekends when we have cards from both the UK and Europe in the afternoon and evening and the US during the night. That one last year where we had all that + a card in Japan the following morning was a killer and even worse I'd barely had any sleep art all. That was like 20 + hours of nonstop boxing. You'd been going that long IIRC and you always keep it together

 

I missed his fight tonight but from the tiny bit I did catch it looked like it might have been Gatti-esque. Luckily I recorded it but his disgusting behaviour tonight will sour my enjoyment of it now

 

Unfortunately the crash for 10 hours part literally never happens to me. Usually half of that even after a marathon session
