I was called crazy in various forums and live chats for picking Fury to win if they ever fought.
It would've been a complete circus, had it happened around the time Fury was talking about Jewish control of the media and Price's promoter turning trans.

Scousers are getting a bit of a bashing tonight.
I think the way Ball's team acted (and Ball leaving ring) was poor form. But it's not because they are scousers, it's cos they were being arseholes.

Scousers have there fair share of idiots and scumbags, just like anywhere else. But on the whole they are a friendly bunch and a good laugh.

I've had many a good night out round Liverpool and never had one bit of trouble

Price was quite unique, I reckon. I don't think it was purely that his chin wasn't great and that he didn't have any stamina. I really think his career went down the shitter (pardon the pun) because he developed major mental and emotional damage from the Tony Thompson fights. Ok, his chin may have been china waiting to be cracked but the whole 'gassing' issue really didn't present until after the Teper fight. You could see virtually hyperventilate in every fight after.

Damn that’s so disappointing. I was one of Cains of supporters, made a thread about him almost a decade ago. That being said, dudes career has been disappointing, his athleticism was absolutely elite, but his career has been kind of mediocre. To me this means he’s not 100% dedicated or his ring iq is not there. Crazy to me how Nick Ball has had 10x the career he’s had.

Believe it or not, I thought of you supporting him with that thread earlier when he got dropped twice. Thinking you'd probably be bummed. Real scumbag move from him today, which kind of sucks because it sullies the memory of that badass wicked comeback he had earlier.:ohno

Didn’t get to see the fight yet. But I was watching the rbr and seeing folks have it so close was disappointing. I always thought Josh Kelly was a hypejob and his athleticism was overrated and Cain was not that, but one guy is beating a legit world champ in Bak and the other is going life and death with an old **** Charlie Edwards.

Arguably Kelly got a gift, Murtazaliev would've won that if it was hed anywhere but the UK. Still, going life and death with Bakhram is more impressive than anything Cain has done. However... in Cain's defense, I was this close to picking Gonzalez for the upset, he's a sharp heavy handed counter puncher. Thankfully I kept my powder dry on that one and went with Cain. But I was getting pretty goddamned nervous there for a second. But I stuck with my gut and went with Figueroa for the upset instead.:D

I've said it before and I'll say it again, featherweight needs a super six tournament

In Cain's defense, he didn't go life-and-death with Edwards; he was absolutely terrified to engage from the off, barely threw anything, and was on his bike for 12 rounds. I still think Cain has the potential, he showed a serious amount of heart tonight in a WBC eliminator, whether he wins a world title or not remains to be seen, but he's got the power to trouble anyone at that weight.

He needs to cut out this thuggish behaviour, though; he's not on the streets of Liverpool anymore getting into scraps, he's a professional boxer who young fighters are looking up to. Keyshawn Davis was the same, fighting backstage and all that BS, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, just as I did with Keyshawn, people can get emotional in the heat of the moment when they're watching people close to them lose, especially in the manner Ball did, but if he continues to show that level of immaturity then he's almost certain to fail in any bid for a bantamweight world title.

Insane 12th round, what a KO! Talk about just going for it!

I had a funny feeling about this one, but at the same time I had written off Figueroa due to his horrendous performance against Fulton in the rematch.

Also, BBBofC better suspend Andrew Cain.
