Garcia vs Barrios

Hard one to pick mate both have looked ordinary in recent fights. Garcia has more talent so if he shows up in the right head space he should be able to win but I would not be shocked to see Barrios out box him to a decision.

 

Barrios should rematch Pac who clearly beat him and was robbed of a historical achievement.

 

I've got Garcia by KO. I'm not impressed by either of them, but Barrios is chinny and can be hit. I think Garcia is going to catch him at some point. He knows this is his last chance at winning a world title, really. Lose to Barrios, and he has zero business at the world level for a long time. Losing to Rolly over 12 rounds is bad enough, but if he can't beat Barrios, that'll be it. He's not getting any better. It's only a matter of time before Shakur moves up and dominates this awful division anyway. The clock is ticking for Crocker, Rolly, Devin, and the winner of this one once Shakur arrives.

 

Draw over 12, Barrios keeps the streak going

 

This has gotta be one of the worst title fights in a long while. Barrios is so ordinary, and literally kept his title the last two fights by getting a draw. And as for Garcia, why? After that performance against Romero? Should be nowhere near a title shot. Both these guys technically have failed to win their last two fights. Crazy. Whoever loses this one, boy. Where do they go from here? Probably straight back into another title shot.

 

i think barrios beats him. i think ryan is psychologically broken. if barrios can protect himself from ryans left for the first 6 rds, i think he can take ryans heart in the second 6. plus, i dont think garcia has the same thump against 147 lb guys. he has power, but now he has to catch you just right to hurt you.

 

Good comparison. I suppose like a lot of people in relationships, you stay for the good moments. It's not all bad, but damn they make it hard.

Oh, and just to insult us even further, they put this on PPV. I feel like they should be paying us to watch it.

 

Honestly, Barrios should win. Garcia is more talented but he's limited and has low iq. I don't see Barrios losing to Rolly as bad as he is

 

I pray to God Barrios can catch Garcia knocking him out cold leaving him twitching on the floor and all the little girls crying but he'll probably win Barrios is boringly average

 

It's a tough fight for me. Barrios is mediocre. Ryan lost to rolly who is a complete bum in and out of the ring.
Makes more money for boxing if ryan wins. It's a tossup to me. Ryan is acting up again though. I say Barrios by 7-5 in the fight but they give a split to ryan.

 

Can someone explain how people think Garcia is more skilled or a better boxer? The only times I have seen him throw combinations is when he's on Tik Tok throwing punches in the air. One can measure how far boxing has fallen by witnessing a Tik Tok idiot make it to the big stage and winning a championship. For someone who doesn't know how to throw combinations in a real fight and turns his back to not get hit, it doesn't get any lower than Cryan Garcia.

I agree that Barrios is nothing special but he can box a little and is tough. So I will be rooting for Barrios to send this fool packing.
