You hate Kabayel fans because they want to see him against Usyk ?

    Isn't Kabayel is top 10 ?

A heavyweight championship fight not involving an English or American boxer? I'll believe it when I see it.

Whilst I would love to see the fight, I hate how it's just automatically expected of Usyk to fight Kabayel in Germany because he's the road warrior king and Kabayel sold 12,000 tickets in Germany vs Knyba last tome out

Usyk is the unified champ and P4P King and he calls the shots and he's forged a career fighting in his opponent's backyards and it's just expected he should fight yet another young/younger much bigger dangerous big punching top 3 ranked opponent again, an unbeaten one at that, in their backyard, and at 39 y/o when well past his prime

How many champions are doing this in their mid to late 30s? How many in history have done so? Doing so when they're the 4th oldest champion, 3rd oldest unified champion, and the oldest undisputed champion, in the history of their division? At 39 y/o?

    Rankings

    #1 AJ
    #2 AJ (rematch)
    #1 Belly
    #1 Belly (rematch)
    #2 Dubois (rematch)

Dubois unranked first fight but he was the WBA regular champ and the mandatory challenger

    #2 Kabayel

If as we are lead to believe Kabayel is such a big star in his homeland now why just automatically assume Usyk has to fight him in Germany when both Ukraine and Germany share a border with Poland where Usyk has also fought twice before? I'm not saying I'm opposed to Usyk fighting Kabayel in Germany at all but rather just at how it's expected of Usyk that he should do so even though he sold twice that amount of tickets for Dubois I in Poland and 90,000 for the rematch vs Dubois in his last fight?

Yeah, I agree it would be nice to have it in Poland seeing as its in the middle of both fighters' homelands.

Having said that though, the atmosphere in Germany was incredible for Kabayel last time. But Usyk doesn't seem to care where he fights. And it seems to make no difference to his performances whatsoever. Maybe he enjoys fighting in his opponent's backyards. He's never seemed to complain about it. He has so many supporters across the world, he seems to get cheered everywhere he goes anyway. I can guarantee there will be plenty of Ukrainians there making themselves heard no matter what.

I would like that. Let kabayel have his chance and he will probably lose. It's not about him being a 50-50 against usyk, because he is not. But he is the most interesting challenger and it is the most interesting fight with usyk in it.
From a fan's perspective, for anyone hoping for the most interesting matchups with interesting styles clashing, it is the one match that might be interesting - apart from wardley, but it might be like huni, only wardley will fall after a while.

But about kabayel's chances of winning: people argued with the second dubois fight that usyk might have gotten older and slower and dubois might profit off that. Well usyk is even older now and seeking to fight kickboxers and been out of the ring for a while. Might get interesting once kabayel maybe gets a few body shots in. I think kabayel can take many punches in order to get to his opponent.

    But yes, maybe 30-70

I wouldn't care, i would go to poland, too :)

I actually think in this case you're wrong. I don't think people expect it because usyk should do it because kabayel is such a star, but because usyk makes the impression of seeking money fights.

Kabayel and his team are trying to prove they can be such a money fight. That's why people talk about the german audience and possible money associated with it.

And the assumption - at least to me - seems to be that this might make it an interesting proposition for usyk.

Obviously everyone should know that the ball is actually in usyk's court and if he wants to fight anywhere but in the midst of flying bombs he should be able to dictate that.

Kabayel has to be glad if he can manage to get that fight.

Where's the "Usyk won't fight him" option?

Correct. People discuss as if they seriously believe this fight will ever happen ...

soo....who should usyk fight? not his number 1 challenger? dont get me wrong i'd put my money on usyk but should we not praise fighters fighting the best and challenging them self win or lose? I'd respect Kabayel fighting Usyk even if he lost rather than him not chasing it in fear he'll lose.

Kabayel is on the best run of wins in heavyweight. style wise i'd love to see how usyk deals with him and im sure he does deal with him but not fighting because fans want to play manager rather than just being a fight fan is a frustrating perspective i will never understand.

The whole concept of a corrupt boxing board 'ordering' Usyk to fight Kabayel or anyone else is laughable.
Usyk will fight who he wants, where he wants

WBC can suck my micro johnson

Usyk Kabayel and Fury AJ we are getting this summer then Fury Usyk III in Winter...

I don't think Usyk will handle two back to back tough fights like that...unless he can make light work of Kabayel.

Usyk already beat Joshua & Fury back to back, so adding Kabayel in beforehand and then a Joshua or Fury will just end the same way the first two fights ended if those fights were to end up happening like that.

Yeah, I think it's going to be Kabayel now, and if Agit wants it, he deserves it.

Yeah, sure. You are arguing a point nobody made. Usyk had at one point said two more fights...I was hoping he would fights Parker and retire, and Kabayel could have his own title reign, unifying with other guys. But I think the fights is going to happen now, and good for them.

It's not going to be that difficult of a fight. Kabayel ain't going to pin him on the ropes to land those body shot.

You are taking this too seriously. I am not anyone's manager and wouldn't prevent any fight it I could. I merely said that I had hoped that their paths would not cross. At this point, it makes more sense. That is all.
