Zuffa Boxing III: Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Lee Martin & Umar Dzambekov vs. Ahmed Alaa Elbiali RBR.

Looking forward to this one. Could be interesting if Martin has anything left in the tank. The form he had against Ortiz and Anderson is at least enough to trouble Ajagba. Don't see him winning though. I just hope he isn't showing up to lie down for an easy payday.

 

How many hours from now for the main event you reckon?

 

I got Ajagba points in a scruffy affair.

 

If Martin has anything left, there's plenty of incentive for him to show it here. Probably last roll of the dice for him at this level.

Should be fun while it lasts, at the very least. The smart money has to be on Ajagba though.

Hopefully a fairly well-matched fight. Zuffa have got it right that way, so far.

Could be a 6-4 type of fight.

Also, Martin sounds as delusional as always, and he looks to be in good shape by weighing in at 250 which is pretty much his usual weight.

This has Ajagba by decision written all over it, but if he can harness some of the spite he showed earlier in his career a stoppage is not out of the question.

 

Ajagba coming in really heavy at 254, not sure what that's about. Think this will be a pretty straightforward stoppage win for him though. Good southpaw-killing right hand which will get Martin out of there eventually.

 

I predict a heavyweight waltz in which both sides look as if they are to lose. Ajagba will win the fight by 10-20 punches.

 

This would favor Martin, actually. Only he might be too old to capitalize on it. If Martin is allowed to fight at his distance then he is far more dangerous and skilled than people give him credit for. And he clearly has enough power to hurt Ajagba.
