Do you think Prime Charles Martin would have beaten Efe Ajagba ?

 

Like what Zuffa have done so far but arrogance like that from White won't help their cause. That said, it is a response to the endless flack he has received from Hearn and Co.

 

Hearn has been giving him no "flack" as such, just said he wants and likes the competition.

The only thing overtly negative Hearn has said is that the "Zuffa" "world" championship is bollocks and means nothing, which is correct.

I cannot believe the slaphead is this arrogant after putting on Callum "Generic Vanilla Boy" Walsh and a heavyweight fight that would have been a decent undercard fight half a century ago. Having said that, this is a guy who thinks watching people slap each other in the face is superb entertainment, so it checks out.

Branding and presentation are both very generic, and Dana White knows **** all about boxing, so he had better hope Turki favours him and therefore puts his hand deeply in his pants (I mean pockets) for him.

He should take his retirement but his prime was underrated in my opinion

 

The problem for Martin is his prime will only be remembered by most as being a kind of paper champion that went down without a fight against Anthony Joshua.

 

"Prime" Charles Martin was a mediocre HW with a glass jaw who was lucky to be gifted a belt. He would always be highly likely to get starched by any semi-decent HW
