Having 5 opponents at heavy on his counter he obviously did NOT cleared the entire division . Quite the opposite , he avoids the true division.

In a normal world usyk with a legacy of whitherspoon and chisora at heavy would never get a title shot against aj , never an undisputed shot against fury with three opoonents at heavy.

 

And yet never the other guy calling himself champ at the moment. Even the decent fighters he beat all had context...Norton was 35...Witherspoon had only 13 fights...

 

He beat the other contenders to call themselves best of the post Klitschko era.

 

To keep things consistent, would this mean Crawford is one of the best smw in history for beating the longstanding main guy of the division and becoming only the second undisputed at the weight?

With usyk we seem to see now a triple duck of parker , wardley and kabayel in a row , including as the result the avoiding of defence of all major belts . If wilder was also a duck is not that clear but possible when we see verhouven is in talks instead.
