Insane step up for Torrez if the Usyk fight were to happen, but I bet Usyk will vacate the belt instead. Then again, if Usyk wants to do a US run then Torrez might be a good pick for that; a marketable young heavyweight with a solid highlight reel and a decent resume.

 

Beating Frank Sanchez shouldn't propel you to a title shot. Although, it would be Torrez's best win.

For me you need to beat a genuine contender to earn a title shot. Not by beating a strong gatekeeper.
