Froch has called his bluff. Let’s see how John wriggles his way out of this. My bet is that he will come back and say the fight has to be “on the cobbles” or “in the streets” where “anything goes”. He’ll demand a condition that will clearly be unacceptable.

I can see this argument but I think Froch has been saying it tongue in cheek, John Fury should be giving it back tongue in cheek and having a laugh. Who knows if they are actually agreeing to this back and forth behind closed doors to generate numbers and laugh all the way to the bank?

It seems a bit coincidental that Froch lands a big Netflix gig, suddenly Fury starts chaos as the Netflix coverage is about to go live, and suddenly he's talking about fighting on the undercard on Netflix. A platform that loves the idea of circus events to bring eyeballs to their app. If I had to say, I think it's genuine, but it wouldn't surprise me either, boxing can be more WWE than Wrestlemania at times.

Froch understands he’s an “ex” professional fighter, tough as nails but not a street fight guy (anymore at least).

John fury is in the same position but he didn’t get the memo

More chance of Big John and Bosh Snr teaming up to start a food review/eating challenge channel than him ever stepping into a ring with anyone with a pulse, let alone a former world champ or Hall of Famer. Unless someone throws Misfits-level money at him like they did with Tate, it’s just not happening.

The whole Fury clan is starting to feel like a parody of what they used to represent. Tyson’s had more comebacks than Lazarus, Tommy built his platform off reality TV, and John’s trying to ride the wave off his kids. The irony is he doesn’t even need the money, he’s wealthy in his own right, but he loves the spotlight and in some demented narcissistic way seems to think he’s helping the promotion rather than embarrassing it.

People are not used to a serious old school fighting man being on the scene. This is what our great country has come to

Assuming this is bait but John doesn't fight anyone. If he gets in there with Carl Frock I'll give him some respect.

Frank Grant proved years ago Fury’s just a cowardly bully when it comes down to it, and his eye-gouging days are long behind him. He’d probably sabotage any actual fight pre-fight anyway because his ego couldn’t handle an Akinwande-type ending where he gets tied up, embarrassed, and shown up. He’s got maybe 20–30 seconds of “fury” in the tank at best, and he’d struggle to do 10 rounds on a heavybag, let alone with something that hits back.

And yeah, he appeals to the lowest common denominator in the same way Tyan Booth does. Maybe there’s an audience for it, clearly Bosh Snr has found one, but it’s more pantomime than “serious old school fighting man.”

Still, in the unlikely event it happens, it’d probably do bigger numbers than Wood vs Warrington, – stick it on at Christmas at the Alhambra in full panto gear.

What happened to Tyan Booth, been silent for a long time. His degeneracy was something else, especially when it was revealed he wasn't playing a character.

I know Froch is a wind up merchant (especially since he's had his channel) but all Froch has done is call out John Fury for his lies and bully boy actions.

It's not like John Fury is a quiet guy going about his business and out of the blue Froch has started picking on him.

Fury is constantly screaming on camera, threatening every man and his dog, claiming to be the hardest 50 odd year old on planet, wants to fight mike Tyson, headbutting opponents team members and generally being a nasty horrible bully.

99% of the boxing fraternity laugh it off or tiptoe on eggshells round him but Froch has actually called him out on his ridiculous behaviour.

How dare Froch do that! And now poor little John feels victimised

Fury has had hundreds of fights & is clearly tough as nails. His autobiography lays some great stories out in detail. Recommended read

Jesus Christ, a John Fury autobiography??
Did you find it in the fiction section?

    Chapter 1
When he was born he bent the midwife over and ****ed her like a dog. Then he knocked the doctor spark out and drove himself home from hospital...

Theres no way John could do 3 rounds, he goes on about being 20 stone, but at least 30% of that is fat.

I'd watch the fight mind you, be hilarious.
